This is the best gift ever, extremely good customer service and warranty. I enjoy watching the birds, and feeding them once you get it situated and for me eliminate squirrel issues - I can put premium seed in it and it last for 2 weeks attracting 200 plus birds! I have seen several new birds that I would of missed without the camera and cloud option.
Response from BirdfyFeb 3, 2026
Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful experience, Stephanie! We’re thrilled to hear that it’s been such a meaningful gift for you and that you’re enjoying watching and feeding the birds. It’s great to know the feeder setup has helped eliminate squirrel issues and made feeding easier, being able to use premium seed and see it last that long is a big win. We also love hearing that the camera and cloud features helped you discover new birds you might have otherwise missed. Those moments are exactly why we do what we do. Thank you for your kind words about our customer service and warranty. We truly appreciate your support and wish you many more enjoyable bird-watching moments ahead! 🐦

My first birdfeeder is fantastic. When the team was in town they even came by and we talked about what I liked and what I would change for it to be even more user friendly. The pictures are crisp and the battery life (even without a solar panel) on the rookie is very good, even on a very active feeder. I mounted on a pole w a squirrel baffle and so far so good. Adding a bird bath and a bird house as well we liked it so much!
Response from BirdfyFeb 3, 2026
Thank you so much for sharing your experience, Rachel! We’re absolutely delighted to hear how much you’re enjoying your first bird feeder and that it’s been such a positive experience from start to finish. It’s especially meaningful to know that you had the chance to connect with our team in person and share your thoughts, that kind of feedback helps us continue improving and making our products even more user-friendly. We’re glad to hear the image quality and battery life on the Rookie have met your expectations, even with such an active feeder. It sounds like you’ve built an amazing setup with the pole mount, squirrel baffle, bird bath, and bird house. No wonder the birds are loving it! Thank you again for your support and enthusiasm. We’re excited to be part of your bird-watching journey and can’t wait for all the moments ahead. Just reach out if you need any help with your cams!

The squirrels are chewing the frame of my feeder I hope this stops them from breaking my feeder
Response from BirdfyFeb 3, 2026
So sorry to hear the squirrels are chewing on your feeder frame, Kirk. We appreciate you letting us know. The best setup against squirrels recommended by most users will always be a pole and baffle. Make sure it is 10 feet away from any tree or platform they can jump from and 4-5 feet above ground. In terms of feeds, use chili flakes or capsaicin powder. They hate the smell of chili. Peppermint works really well too. Please reach out via Birdfy Chat, email, or phone support for help and replacement options; phone support is available for US customers. Happy Birdwatching!!

My Husband got me Birdfy original feeder when it first came out, a few years back 3 raccoons pulled the pole down and destroyed the feeder. Birdfy replaced it with no problems!!! Just ordered their pole, hummingbird feeder, and bird bath. Birdfy loyalist!!! Can’t wait!!!
Response from BirdfyFeb 3, 2026
Thank you so much Danielle! We are thrilled to have loyal customers like you and so glad we could help with the replacement. Enjoy the new pole hummingbird feeder and bird bath and please reach out via Birdfy Chat email or phone support Phone support is available for US customers. You can add capsaicin powder to deter raccoons or squirrels. Enjoy the rest of the day and happy birdwatching!

Just purchased the Birdfy screen. It’s a great addition to my feeder because it prevents larger birds such as pigeons and also squirrels from hogging the feeder. I wish I had this screen when I first bought the feeder it would have saved me a few bucks in seed costs . I do recommend this product.
Response from BirdfyFeb 3, 2026
Thanks so much for your kind words, Warner! We’re glad the screen is helping keep pigeons and other big birds at bay and saving you seed. I could not love our Birdfy feeder any more than I do. It has totally changed the way I see our farm and how I feel about each day. I wake up, excited to see what birds might visit and have learned to identify so many new friends
