most here giving 5 stars have to be the company giving self reviews! For one you have to charge the camera for 14 hours before you can use it so the guy saying he used it right away is a liar! their customer support is terrible! This is a crappy Chinese company that is ripping off Americans just like all the rest probably spying on you as well! America should have never done business with a communist POS country like China in the first place! from now on if it's from China I will pass it buy! No more Chinese crap for me they can keep it! You can not trust China!

UPDATE: Birdfy has since issued a return label and promised a refund. I wish there was a zero star option. This was a gift. We are relatively tech savvy, but we spent HOURS trying to get the thing to connect. We even went into our internet app and made sure the settings were correct (quite a pain, by the way). It still never connected. We gave up after following all the troubleshooting steps. But the real problem is their customer service. It's HORRIBLE! We've been asking for a refund and return label for weeks. Their automated responses are a jumble. They have said our order number doesn't exist and have insisted on pictures of the cameras multiple times. Ridiculous. I'm disputing the charge of course, but this company is a joke. Or a massive scam.

Extremely disappointing product and even worse customer service. I purchased the Birdfy Feeder Bamboo directly from Birdfy’s official website because it was advertised as an outdoor bird feeder. After less than a year of normal outdoor use, the unit has severely deteriorated — the bamboo material is clearly not protected nor properly treated for outdoor conditions as one would expect. The feeder now looks damaged and weather-worn, which defeats its purpose. What’s worse is Birdfy’s complete lack of customer support. I have sent three separate emails to request warranty service, as their website states they offer warranty coverage. I have received no response whatsoever. It is unacceptable for a company to promote a warranty and then completely ignore customer claims. Birdfy's website promises a "60-Day Return Guarantee" and implies product quality, but they seem unwilling to stand behind their products or respond to legitimate concerns. Buyers beware — if you have any problems after purchase, you may be completely on your own. Very disappointing experience. I expected much better. Xavier Bello

Unlike other reviews, mine was store bought. Loved it, but it picks up passing people then ignores the birds because it’s in cooldown. I’ll set it shorter. No, you have to pay for that. I bought the lifetime version, everything included. Nope. Reached out to support with automatic reply promise of response within 72 hours. Nada…. Because I want something put right. Nope, not interested. A good product spoilt by non-existent customer services and nothing included that I’ve paid for.

I am currently pursuing a refund of £359.98 for 2 Birdfy Feeders that I returned. Due to a change in my circumstances I cancelled the Orders on 31.12.2024 prior to their dispatch. Nonetheless the Company dispatched the feeders to me on 08.01.2025. I have sent numerous emails regarding their error, most of which do not even get a reply. Eventually, however I was emailed return labels addressed to a Cardiff warehouse. I returned the unopened birdfeeders using the labels provided via Royal Mail 48 hr tracking. That was on 04 February so the Company will have received the feeders on 6th February. Despite several emails, I cannot get a response from the Company acknowledging their return and most importantly they continue to hold my £359.99. I have lodged a formal complaint with the Company and I am now considering legal action against them. Make up your own mind if you want to deal with a Company whose customer support is so awful.

I have purchased several products from Birdfy, and each time I have been severely disappointed. Although the products are very expensive and give the impression of high quality, this is unfortunately misleading. In reality, they are just cheap Chinese products from a company that pretends to be based in the USA. The products are neither of high quality nor does the associated software work properly. It is truly embarrassing how many issues arise with these products. I strongly advise everyone to steer clear of this company – otherwise, you will just be paying exorbitant prices for cheap junk.

Placed an order on Nov. 28, 2024 credit card was charged immediately. Was given a tracking number to some chinese shipping site that never worked. Multiple emails to the company and they finally claimed I'd have my order the 2nd week of Jan 2025. It's now 1/28/25 and nothing has arrived. Subsequent claims from the company that their "Tier 2 support" would be in touch however still no contact from them. They ignored my claim via Paypal. I have now initiated a dispute via my credit card.

I can't even begin to explain how embarrassed I am for ordering one of these things. I placed my order in mid-December. When it hadn't shipped by New Year's, I reached out. I got the platitudes that there were issues, backlogs, etc., but my order would be shipped within 10 days or so. I'm past that, and my order still hasn't shipped. At least this wasn't a Christmas gift for my in-laws. At least my wife hasn't been asking me if it's been delivered yet. Oh, wait. I did. She has been. I guess I'm fortunate that they answered my e-mail? Apparently that's not a thing they do for everyone.
