I chatted as my camera stopped working. Battery is dead. Rep gave me a discount to purchase a new feeder. I was disappointed as I also wanted to get the birdbath that was $110 with a purchase, but they were sold out. You need to remove that ad.

I love my Birdfly feeder. Great photo quality and identification, even identifying a Raccoon one evening! The reason for the 4 stars: Squirrels somehow found a way to open the top of the feeder to get at the birdseed. When it rains the birdseed gets all wet.
Response from BirdfyAug 24, 2026
Hi Lory, We’re so glad you’re enjoying the photo quality and AI identification—and even captured a raccoon visitor! 🦝🐦 We’re sorry the squirrels have been getting into the feeder and causing the seed to get wet. As a quick tip, try placing the feeder in a more sheltered location and adding a squirrel baffle. Keeping it away from nearby branches, fences, or structures may also help prevent squirrels from reaching it. We truly appreciate your feedback and hope these tips help! If you ever need anything, our Birdfy Support team is always happy to assist. Happy bird watching! 🐦💚 Warm regards, Birdfy Team

Great technology! Love seeing a big variety of birds from our phones everyday! Due to the recent server issues by Birdfy, even though resolved now, we get a lot of motion pictures, with no real sighting. The AI recognition is about 95% accurate. Our purchase of the recent seed cover has deterred the beautiful cardinals we usually see everyday. We took it off temporarily to test. Their beaks are wider than the other birds and they get discouraged and leave after several tries. Also, the seed grid cover does not distract the squirrels as indicated in the purchase photo. Overall, we are very pleased.

Hi Beth, We’re so glad you’re enjoying the technology, AI recognition, and beautiful bird sightings from your phone. 🐦💚 We’re sorry about the extra motion captures following the recent server issue and the difficulty your cardinals have had with the seed cover. As a quick tip, you may try adjusting the cover slightly or testing a different seed placement to make it easier for larger-beaked birds to feed while still helping protect the seed. We truly appreciate your detailed feedback and are happy to hear that, overall, you’re pleased with your Birdfy experience! Happy bird watching! 🐦 Warm regards, Birdfy Team

I am enjoying seeing these beautiful birds up close and now I want dual cameras for a better view and a birdbath, but your site wasn’t the easiest to maneuver because I was getting a membership discount as well for Pro, but it disappeared as new emails came in as I added a credit card etc.

The four star rating is because the website is not that easy to find what you want if you are not looking for bird cameras and the app is good but could be improved on. Birdfy is the new name for NetVue. I purchased 3 Netvue Peekababy cameras and they work great. I have now purchased two outdoor solar powered security cameras for later.

Assembly of the Birdfy Pro AI was easy. I'm disappointed with the solar pump. The pump needs full sunshine for it to work . The placement needed in the Texas summer sun is not condusive for the temperature of the water for the birds .
