The flash tape has worked best scaring away the wood peckers. I have purchased everything from 300.00 sound machine, nasty scent, owls and bb guns.

We purchased the bird b gone laser pointer to remove a pigeon problem we are having, and needless to say, the laser did not phase the pigeons at all.

Ordering and delivery are great. Easy, prompt, so no problem. However... The Bird B Gone does not work as it is supposed to and it does not repel any birds. Examples: proximity detector does not work (runs all the time), being able to choose between 3 different sounds does not work (only get 1 no matter what the setting), does not charge up so dies when not exposed to the sun. So what does work: it makes sounds when it is in the sunshine, that's it. Be prepared to return it if you get one. I'll be out cleaning up from the birds. Yuch.

I am sorry, but with the pigeons not letting me enjoy this Spring time, in my balcony this device works a little bit, specially if it windy. In a calm day the pigeons are not afraid of this Bird-B-Gone Diverter, so I will have to get another method to get rid of them. I would say this method works only 50%. Thank you

Plastic strips were light weight, easy to handle and install. Cutting to your specs was easy just use medium size wire cutters and make a crimp from one side then flip it around and make the other cut and then bend it apart. Strips also connect end to end like they say and it only takes a couple screws per strip. One on each end and maybe one in the middle. Just make sure you purchase strips that are wide enough for your application. If you have a 5" ledge buy the product that covers 5" or just a bit wider and not a 3" as those pesky birds will still land on a very small ledge.

Eliminated birds so far but product often clings to siding of house.
