I love opening my new box each month. There is always 3-4 items that I would buy again.

I love the service, but I would like to see more variety in products. The variety in the mid-high end products carried can be disappointing. I would like to see an expansion of the L'Occitane, Cover FX, Clinique, Paula's Choice, Philosophy, Becca, and Atelier brands. I would do much more shopping with BB if there was more to choose from.

Twice now I've received products that had broken packaging that caused the product to spill all over the inside and haven't been able to even try it because of it.

I never thought this would be a type of service I could use but I was wrong! There are enough options that even finicky people (or those with rosacea and sensitive skin like I do) can find eye opening products. And the video tips for using the products really come in handy and have improved the way I do my face right from the start. A warning though: at the beginning, you may get really excited about all the add-ons and specials available to ship in addition to your monthly sample and order a bunch of stuff you don't really need. That's when it's good to have a friend to share the stuff with. The consumer reviews are helpful, especially if you sort from worst to best. You need never feel bad giving a less than glowing review. And the points you accumulate from reviews, purchases, etc add up faster than you'd think, which gives you discounts faster than you'd believe. Really cool concept well implemented.

Product samples are great value. Varying manufactures and nice fair sized samples. In general, Birchbox is easy to figure out how rating samples and collecting points works. It's fun to get samples of products that I could never normally afford. I will be a member for a long time!

Some of the boxes are great and then you get a box and you are looking for more. Me, my daughter and son get birch box and we all feel the same way. Some months its like Wow, and others (like Decembers) we are like really? If they could be consistent, I would feel as if it is worth my money.
