Theft
In November 2024, I purchased an aftermarket Apple CarPlay device online for $349 from Bimmer Plug LLC, and my experience has been nothing short of appalling due to their blatantly unethical and deceptive business practices. They essentially stole my money along with the returned device, an action that I firmly consider theft. The device was incompatible with my vehicle, directly contradicting their so-called "Fit Guarantee." Worse, the product arrived without usable instructions, merely providing a generic YouTube video that referenced an entirely different model. My numerous attempts to reach their customer service through email, phone, and text were entirely ignored. After incurring additional costs of \$77 for certified return shipping, the return package was confirmed delivered and signed for by Bimmer Plug LLC. Despite this clear evidence of receipt, they blatantly refused to issue a refund or even acknowledge the return. When I disputed the transaction with my credit card company, my claim was rejected due to a deliberately obscured clause on their website requiring submission of a return request form—requests they intentionally ignore, effectively ensuring refunds cannot be processed. My ordeal mirrors countless other consumer complaints online, highlighting a systematic and calculated pattern of consumer deception and theft by Bimmer Plug LLC. I strongly urge potential customers to avoid this unscrupulous company to prevent experiencing the same financial loss and frustration.
