Bike Tow LeashReviews of biketowleash.com

Excellent, EXCELLENT product! My husky has gone after squirrels, tried to run & meet other people or dogs several times and not ONCE did it interfere with riding. She’s never got stuck or caught in the chain, or under the bike etc...She LOVES when I tell her “Bike Tow Leash?” Would buy again. Only thing to add would be updated videos with better angles showing the wonderful leash abilities. Simpler instructions would be a + also.

I love BTL and recommend it to everyone, I recently added the coupler so I can exercise my two very strong Pit Mix dogs. I have experienced what would be major pulls and lunges from both in unison that would be extremely difficult to handle walking. I noticed no change at all in the stability of my bicycle.

I have rarely experienced customer service at such a high level. And on the phone, no less! Proprietor Mike Leon has it all; knowledge, talent, energy, and creativity. He was perceptive and responsive to my needs, enthusiastic, and professional. I am brand new to this product and sport. I needed a lot of help to figure out my order. Mike knew exactly how to guide my selection. He has vast experience with equipment design, bikes, dog breeds and behaviors, and all possible variants of dog/bike sporting activities. He completely understood that I didn’t even know what questions I should ask and helped me figure things out from the ground up with patience and enthusiasm. After we got off the phone, I was completely inspired to get out there and ride with my dogs. Thank you, Mike!

Really good product. Installation instructions are still a little difficult for the average joe like me. I couldn't really replicate the switching the RHS leash to the LHS leash using the video instructions. However, it works as advertised. Pulling only makes my rear wheel skid a little (in the worst-case scenario) and that's with my muscle bound 85 lb pitbull going at 20 mph and lunging at squirrels. I've used it multiple times and never fallen. Really difficult for the dog to get caught under the bike also. If you buy this, I would consider the following: The seller recommends using a martingale collar - I advise against this because this kind of pressure is not something I recommend putting on a dog's neck. Regular harnesses are also not great for this. You might need a mushing harness for it. The seller is super approachable and will be happy to guide with installation of the product over the phone. Comes with a 30 or 45 day return, which is awesome if you're unsure about it or want to try it out. Being able to give my reactive, high energy dog the freedom to run and use his muscles outdoors has been a blessing in dealing with his reactivity.

This company, the owner and the product, are excellent. We recommend the bike tow leash to many of our clients with high-energy dogs. For many people, biking on a fixed lead like this is the only way they are able to exercise their dogs thoroughly enough to get them calm and focused during training. As trainers, the main thing that we love about this system is that it automatically puts the dogs' minds into a Flow State, so they get exercise while calming their minds down simultaneously. That is not something you can accomplish with fetch games or at the dog park. The dogs we've introduced the bike tow leash to seem to understand the process in just 5-10 minutes of starting / stopping on the bike and some figure-8's. It hasn't taken any special training to teach them to run next to the bike, and so far they've all loved it! The owners find it easy, too, which is a huge plus! We recommend this product to anyone who is considering a system like this for their dog, and the owner / engineer and online FAQ are excellent resources if you have any issues while setting it up.

Bike Tow Leash is an excellent product. My dogs the days I run her on my bike. It's the next best thing to running off leash. But their customer service is even better!

Outstanding product, pricey but it does what they say it will and support solid if needed. My dog loves running with me on the bike and I love knowing I’ve got him under control. Accessories a little pricey but well designed.

I love it...I use it on my wheelchair
