The bike tow leash doesn't work on the newer bikes because the supports that hold the tow leash are rounded and the leash was made for flat supports. The tow leash worked awesome on my older bike, but that had flattened supports.

Extra import charges due have made this a very expensive purchase, and i am still awaiting the receipt of the bike tow leash from parcel force tomorrow. So far it was held up for 5 days in Miami and 3 days in this country. The delay in this country was because customs charges are due to the sum of a further £40.15 on top of the £167.93 already paid out which already included 50.94 postage and insurance. No one said anything about paying a further £40.15, this makes total postage charges to get a £116.99 product to the UK a grand total of £91.09. For this amount of money i would expect to have received it sooner than the 11 days it will have taken to get here. I think the company should endeavour to tell the customer additional charges will be incurred so that they can decide whether it is worth ordering direct, or else these charges should be inclusive at the point of sale

Worked well for my lab, not so well for my Heinz 57 (hound dog mix). Dogs are different heights and one is comfortable running next to my catrike while the other doesn't like to be so close. Also, I mounted it on the right side (grass side) of the trike so they aren't in traffic. I purchased the quick mount, however it didn't work on the right side so only option was to mount it permanently to the trike and take my quick release hub off. Not what I was hoping for and I've decided to just use leashes with the dogs instead of the bike tow leash. I full time RV and have to disassemble the trike to put it into my truck bed before I hook up the 5th wheel. Without the quick release hubs it makes for more work to take down and put back together.
