Buyer beware
Buyer beware! This company does not actually have the bike. They are basically a middleman. I was looking for a specific bike and found two suppliers. I went ahead and purchased the bike through bike exchange. A few days later, I was notified that the bike was no longer available. Unfortunately, at this point, my other option was now gone as well. So now I am just out of luck. So just be aware bike exchange does not really control the stock. It may not have the up-to-date information on availability. In many cases, this may not be an issue, but if you’re purchasing something that is low on availability, you could end up losing out. Better off buying directly from a retailer that is selling the product that you are looking for.

We’re sorry that your order was cancelled and refunded, and we understand how frustrating it must have been to miss out on the bike you were looking for. BikeExchange is an online marketplace that connects customers with independent bike shops nationwide. Our service gives retailers an opportunity to expand their online presence without having to manage a full e-commerce store. We integrate our online inventory with each seller’s point-of-sale system and do our best to keep inventory levels as accurate and up to date as possible. However, inventory synchronization occurs once a day, so occasionally a bike may sell in a store before that sale is reflected online. While this is rare, when it does happen, we work to notify the customer as soon as we become aware of the issue. We’re sorry that this happened with the particular bike you wanted. We hope you’ll continue checking back, as new sellers are always joining BikeExchange and new bikes and deals are added regularly.
