Delivery window is 8 hr window they are suppose to call you with an hrs notice more like "We will be there in 7 minutes" they charge you $75 to take it off the truck and drop it on the room it's going it .. leaving you to unwrAp it and put the legs on . Don't believe them in the store when they say the delivery people do all this . I told the driver that I was told they set it up meaning unwrAp and put the legs on he laughed at me and said we keep tell the stores we don't do that better off picking it up yourself save the $75 charge

I went to buy a mattress and headboard at Big Lots online. After putting my information in and confirming, it kicked me out. Re-did and the same thing happened.I called their customer service 800 number and they had no record of the order and said they were experiencing "computer issues" and to try again later. Then my bank called. They had 2 pending charges from Big Lots totaling $1,736.38. I went back to Big Lots to get them to cancel those pending charges and then began the odyssey of the absolute worst customer service and shopping experience I have ever had. They basically "borrowed"- I would say STOLE 1700- and I had to jump through hoops to get it back. I didn't do anything wrong - it was all on their side. By locking up my money on a double charge I was late with rent, phone bill, car insurance payment. I couldn't buy gas or food. They sent me an e-mail saying someone would get back to me and this would be settled in 24-48 hrs - No call, I had to call and it was just the "next step". They demanded all this information to send to my bank and when I asked I asked when it would be done (this was Noon on Friday 08/02) I was told that they didn't know and that department was gone for the weekend and no one was there that could help me or talk to me. They did send me once to the "Manager voice Mail" which they obviously do not listen or respond to and if its emergency - call the 800 number (that I was just transferred from) and they will assist. I finally got my money back after I disputed the charges. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY

Absolutely terrible! DO NOT BUY FURNITURE FROM HERE! I recently purchased a couch from Big Lots and also purchased the protection plan along with it. Not even 2 months after buying the couch, the seam on the arm rest began to rip and separate. I filed a claim, the plan claims to insure rips and tears.... But if you read the fine print it covers absolutely NOTHING! So here I am with a useless couch with the hole about 5 inches wide in it, and wasted money. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE I BEG YOU! The furniture is junk and the customer service is useless.

I ordered a dresser and its all scratched up i will never order anything from them any more i over paid for it and im just unsatisfied with the dresser i will make sure i will tell people not to purchase anything from big lots

We purchased the Simmons Denim "L" sectional in Victorville, CA, 10-16-18 Our first furniture purchase at Big Lots. We paid extra for delivery/ setup. My husband noticed a leg put on wrong. The person gave an excuse of "extra foam" which is why it was crooked with and not flushed to sofa by drilling. We asked him to redo and he did with much ATTITUDE. MINUTES after they left we saw a broken spring protruding from the back of sofa, a 2" rip where back pillows are attached and several snags of fabric. IMMEDIATELY we called the store. We had to wait a week for the delivery, which we agreed to do. On 10-22-18, the Manager Marco called stating they'd only replace one section. We said NO, requesting full replacement. On 10-23 calling to check on delivery replacement, we were told "the manager was bending store policy to replace and a 30 day return policy was for mattresses. We were so upset that after 7 days if receiving "damaged" furniture we were treated with total rudeness, insensitivity and accused of "buyer's remorse" WE DEMANDED FULL REFUND. Never again will we purchase furniture at BIG LOTS.

I have spoke wit 3 different representatives - including 1 phone call, 1 chat, and one email. My issues is still not resolved. If you are having a BOGO sale, and you have 4 of the same item in your cart, you should be discounted on 2 items. Unfortunately that is not the case with Big Lots BOGO 50% off sale they are currently having.
