I'm so disappointed in this store in Madison Indiana. First time ordering furniture bought 1,500 dollar couch Broyhill Naple with ottoman. Plus grey barn door 65 inch tv stand. Took 5 weeks to come in. Drove an hour to pick it up. I based my whole living room around the grey barn door tv stand. They ordered the wrong one. The day i ordered it was confirmed by 2 associates that my order was correct with the items I chose. The sales lady didn't ask if i wanted to do anything besides a refund. No, can i help u order it make sure its right product nothing. She handed me my money back didn't say sorry for their mistake nothing rolled her eyes at me. Cause yes i was very upset cause my whole living room was a disaster now. Hospitality and kindness with customer goes along ways especially ones that are upset due to the stores mistakes. I left took couch home set it up all staples are coming off. We went to put feet on the couch out of 8 holes 5 was not drilled in to screw them on. I mean 1,500 isn't alot to some people. But that took me almost year and a half to save. I take pride in my home and value everything. This experience with big lots never again. The quality of their furniture is awful, customer service in store I'm speechless. If you can avoid buying from this store ur hard earned money I would .

Ordered a sofa online that I sat in in-store. Nice sofa, but 28 days later no delivery. Sent a email to customer service about status of delivery. Got Auto-reply. No status reply. Cancelled the order.

Just found out the credit card I have is now canceled. I was told by customer service today that it was cancelled due to me not using it. This made my credit report go down drastically. I never heard of a store cancelling you because you didn’t use the card. It’s a pandemic and who has the money. I’ve had this card for a lil over a year. This store comes straight out of comic book. RUN🏃🏼🏃🏼

I bought a new in the box Flexbrew single serve coffee pot. When I got home and opened it....the pot was wet and coffee grinds fell out. It does NOT come with samples of coffee...so where did they come from? Someone must have returned it and instead of them checking it....they just put it back on the shelf. WHY???

I placed an order online. One out of three items was not available as advertised. Deceptive tactics to lure me to buy more. The customer service representative told me that that their policy is not to provide order cancelation or refund the products of their deceptive practices. I regret placing an order with Big Lots. I have a waited a week for my refund. Big Lots charged me for the item that was not available. Never again shop at this place.

I would not recommend buying any furniture from this place and it’s a waste of money to purchase insurance on it also. They lie and tell you it’s wear and tear every time you try to file a claim I have not had furniture 2 years at the time and arm on the couch broke and now a rip on the recliner this past week less than 3 years and both times claim denied. Never will I buy from this place again.

Bought a sofa online that was suppose to be same day delivery($75 delivery fee) Never showed up and can’t get in touch with the delivery company that was suppose to deliver it. Big Lots is telling me they can’t help with that and that I should just come and pick it up myself

I ordered 2 Wicker chairs & a wicker couch with 2 ottomans. I received tracking numbers saying they would be delivered 1 day apart. I stayed home for the two days because I didnt want the items just left in front of my home. The tracking information said they would be delivered. At the end of the second day, with still no delivery of either piece I called Big Lots only to be informed that the items were out of stock and will not be available. How could I get a shipping confirmation if the items were out of stock?! I was also told I would get a refund to my credit card in 3-5 business days! Big Lots had no trouble charging my card immediately but to get my money back is going to take 3-5 business days?! Big Lots was very disappointing and a waste of my time because I needed to take off of work to get these deliveries. The only thing the representative offered me was a 20% coupon off my next order. Id hesitate to order because who knows if the items would be "in Stock".
