Don't trust these guys. Only reason we went with BigCommerce was they bragged about "zero transaction fees" for using gateways. Well, they now want 1% of gross sales for processing our cards and we have 4 stores with them, so we're moving. Don't waste your time with them. They're not worth it. Shopify is now a much better option than BC.

Do NOT use BigCommerce. It is extremely expensive, and as your sales increase, they charge you more every month based on your revenue. Stay away. Do not waste your time building your store on this platform, because once you’re in, it becomes very difficult to move later. Their customer service is the worst I have ever experienced. There is a complete lack of flexibility and basic courtesy. I don’t know where their support is based, but I have never seen anything like it. They will push you to pay annually by issuing a full-year invoice, and if you don’t pay it, they will suspend your site. This is completely unethical business behavior. They are clearly focused only on collecting money, without any regard for their customers. Look for another ecommerce platform — this one is not worth it.

farudulently debited £2599.52 from my account and refused to refund

I spent 2 days trying to reach someone there to open an account. I can't get a response from them. If the service is that bad trying to open an account I'm afraid to see what happens if you have a problem

Bigcommerce are a juggernaut without much care for small Australian businesses. Having invested two years of time into building a large website (over 4000 products), Bigcommerce started recording my POS transactions (Outside of the BC system) as their own and moved my plan from $75AUD to over $650AUD a month. BC did not facilitate, find or deliver the transactions made physically instore. When I explained to rep, they said they couldn't do anything. They asked the manager who said the same. Absolutely sad, have lost countless hours as a solo small business owner over 2 years and just as I was building interstate markets too. Shocker.

Terrible service, tried to cancel service and it is made near impossible. They ignored all requests to cancel, then try charging me the full annual plan amount when it eventually went through. DO NOT USE.

BigCommerce is a terrible platform and I lost time and money using it over 5+ years. They don't process payments on their own and make you use another service. Everything is like this, their platform doesn't do anything and you need to setup other services. They also stole some of my money by returning money to customers because their change in payment system was not processed properly. In the end I switched to Shopify which is a superior service. I have a POD shop integrated with prinful and printify.

We’re a small UK brand on BigCommerce. Since the enforced migration to Feedonomics, our Meta CAPI data pipeline has completely failed. CAPI coverage = 0%. Still. Weeks later. Feedonomics looks great on the surface — but the rollout has been rough. Legacy connectors that worked were removed. The new system broke tracking and reporting overnight. Support has been slow, scripted, and without engineering access. It feels like marketing and upsells are being prioritised over fixing real business-critical issues. If you’re another merchant using Printful or other on-demand integrations, check your Meta CAPI match rates and catalogue feeds. You may not realise you’ve been hit until it’s too late — reporting lags hide the drop. This issue has been ongoing since late August and has crippled our analytics and social-commerce performance.
