Very user friendly, and quite easy to make your site your own.

I own a small setup and decided to go online with it. I approached Bigcommerce and now I have a perfect setup. The amazing part is that I can manage my business with ease.

I moved over to BigCommerce after a friend recommended them. I'd had a particularly bad experience previously where I was reliant on and locked in to my tech providers, who massively underdelivered, overcharged and fudged critical reports about the state of my site. Out of desperation I built my own site with BigCommerce - no mean feat, given I had no tech skills to speak of! But it was intuitive and reasonably easy - and at the end of 4 weeks working on it (on and off), I had a site that a) looked so much better than the old one b) had all the bells and whistles I had been wanting for years and c) I had complete control over. I saw the change in sales and findability immediately, and it's safe to say that it's been a game changer for my business. I found the BigCommerce support crew very helpful, in answering loads of my questions (I had various SEO issues to consider). I think the pricing for their different packages is fair. Some of the plug-in providers (not BigCommerce but other companies) are a little sketchy in terms of their compatibility with the platform (that's been my experience) but in general they are good. The BigCommerce knowledge base is also excellent. Overall, double thumbs up

Our store was one of the first customers to sign up for Bigcommerce Enterprise and we currently sell over 6 figures per month. Our first store was self-hosted on Magento then Magento Enterprise. Hosting your own store on open-source software looks like the most cost-effective way to start but the pain of constant software updates, random night time server crashes, and impossible to identify slow loading things gets old very fast. In the end we had two full time people on our team working to keep the store functioning before we finally gave up and decided to move to a SaaS eCommerce platform. Before selecting Bigcommerce we did an extensive evaluation of a number of providers that catered to high revenue stores like ours. There is a massive gap in the market between $99.99 per month all inclusive platforms and $100,000.00 per month plus 3% of your sales big corporate platforms. Bigcommerce Enterprise fits well in this gap and has so far met all our needs. PROS: Bigcommerce Enterprise has a huge amount of functionality for the price you pay each month. Our CFO still cannot understand why it is 1/10th the cost of our last platform. We have had numerous people on the management team reach out to see how we are doing and proactively seek our feedback which was refreshing. CONS: There was some downtime recently which had a small impact on our sales. Still, after 12 months on Bigcommerce the total downtime is well below what we experienced trying to host our own store.

Bigcommerce has been an incredible joy to work with. Yes, its not perfect and yes, there are things that I wish were different, but for the cost of the service, i've been able to almost single handedly launch and grow a successful online store. The platform has so many features that help me run my business and there are tons of integrations when I need new apps etc. The support is often incredible at any time of the day. Kudos to the Bigcommerce team.

I have to say how happy I am with Bigcommerce, the platform is amazing and so easy to use. I had my store up and running in like an hour. The support guys are easily accessible and my success squad representative was excellent. Keep up the good work guys :)
