Big Commerce's admin navigation is terrible. I wasted a lot of time just trying to find the pages I wanted. I don't know of any other ecommerce platform which penalizes a merchant for being successful. They have ridiculously low volume limits - an annual limit of $400,000 for a $299/month hosting plan. Better to use a card processor for your cloud based ecommerce platform since they profit from each sale and have no need to overcharge for the hosting platform services. I ended up with Square, my existing card processor. $79/month for the top plan and a much simpler user experience.

It was so bad , i wanna give it a 0 but is not possible, so im gonna give it a 1 . Big commerce staff lacks in training/ knowledge when it comes to helping you with your business itself/ or any problems at sll . I was transferred back and forth to technical support- First guy that answered (Chase) was completely unprofessional and hung up on me after i explained my frustration due to the back and forth transferring of my call .

It seemed like a good option for our software development company to start using bigcommerce but as soon as we started using it we started seeing little issues here and there. Unfortunately, the issues kept getting bigger and bigger and then we realize that it is not as flexible as other e-commerce websites including wordpress and shopify. We spent over 500 hours building custom code for our clients bigcommerce website but it ended up being a headache because bigcommerce puts way too many limitations so we ended up having to go back to wordpress and shopify. Our client called bigcommerce to cancel his bigcommerce account and they said it had been successfully cancelled but after 8 months our client realized it was not cancelled like they told him and they kept charging him $300+ per month and they would not refund the money even though they acknowleged that it was their fault. Our client ended up having to dispute the charges with his bank and BigCommerce was not cooperative it at all... They tried to keep the money but our clients bank was able to get it back. Overall, we do NOT recommend using BigCommerce.

we have used homestead adn were forced to convert to Big commerce 10 yers ago. we discovered that refunds were not processed properly and showing as completed or not depending the screen. WE spent four hours on the phone where the Big commerce support would tell us to call Homestead and Homestead would tell us to call Big Commerce. They refused to help us . THIS IS 10 YEARS after theMERGER. Meanwhile the problem is not resolved they refused to connect us with a manager . which is customer service 101.. . These people are as bad as the cable companies were 20 years ago.. I AM OUT OF HERE

Awful. Just Awful. They promise the world through their advertising but fail to deliver time after time. I've run into countless problems, practically none of which have been solved by their customer service. The customer service staff are nice, but they are not trained in the product. After banging my head against a brick wall with lots of back and forth, they always just say "have you tried reaching out to our community". They do not try to solve issues themselves, but rely on others to bodge together some sort of coding fix. Here are just a few things that have not been solved: - Automated promotions do not show on the front end, making it impossible to run a successful sale event. - Google/Facebook feed links back to core catalogue and cannot be directed to one the "unlimited sales channels" as advertised by BC (therefore this is not a genuine headless solution!). This makes it impossible to integrate Google Shopping or targeted Facebook/Instagram ads. - Extremely limited integration with Wordpress (Despite having a dedicated plugin (unable to change simple styles and layouts). I have various other gripes and not enough time to list them all... They promise a lot through their advertising, but they do not specifically tell you that you have to PAY EXTRA to integrate with other services that are intended to deliver these services. BC itself is incredibly basic. I ignored the other Trust Pilot reviews believing it must be some sort of smear campaign by other companies. But it turns out BigCommerce really is that bad!! I'll be returning to WooCommerce at the earliest opportunity, having spent far too much on this extremely poor service.

One of the worst programs I used. Almost all apps broken and doesnt work and yet they dont provide refund for bigcommerce store AND for scammy apps that ignore emails and steal your money. Please if you love business STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY I BEG YOU!

Bad service stay away I've been using them for 2 years. Their customer service don't solve any problem, when you ask them for anything they tell you that they know some professional developers that can help you but you have to pay them. They don't have enough free apps. Their selling channels integration is always down & not working. Like Facebook shop & Google merchant I always have problems that won't ever be fixed that causing to lose money & customers.
