Hi David! We're so sorry to hear about this experience and definitely sounds like you haven't had a good one. We are here to help! To keep your PureJet in tip-top shape you need to maintain it regularly, that includes rinsing the bottom of the device - specifically the little metal screen filter. This, if clogged, will cause the device to fail since water wont make its way to the pump properly.
