We provide each customer with step by step instructions on how to perform an easy and successful return as well as immediate assistance every step of the way. We understand your frustration, and as a reminder: Beyond Borders Collective is NOT responsible to cover for shipping costs due to external errors made by the customer or the carrier that are out of our control, specially if the information on the return label purchased by the customer does not match the information Beyond Borders Collective provided on the step by step email, which is the case for your order as the address did NOT match the information in question. In result, packages will be sent back to the customer or in some cases even get lost in transit.

Hi Eric, Thank you for providing your feedback and letting us know about this issue. We understand how this can be a frustration and our desire is to best serve our customers with communication to the best of our abilities. Let us address the two issues you mentioned: 1. Please carefully review your invoice as it doesn’t reflect any payment for gift wrapping or note. The gift wrapping appears on the confirmation email as a product purchase “Gift Letter” when performed correctly. 2. Before a customer checks out, our system displays the label “Beyond Borders Discounted Rate” and a disclaimer below the subtotal in the cart that encourages our international customers to review our policy for international shipping before proceeding to checkout so that they can be informed of any possible custom fees before completing a purchase. Additionally, we proceed to send a confirmation email that specifically states the following: “IMPORTANT: By placing an international order, the buyer is responsible for obtaining information regarding their country’s laws, regulations, duties and taxes that are outside of our control”.
