Buyer Beware.....
I initially purchased a wedding set on June 23, 2026. The following day, I contacted Beverly Diamonds to change the center emerald-cut stone from 4 carats to 5 carats. The company responded almost immediately, assured me the change was not a problem, and advised that I would simply pay the difference in price. The entire transaction took less than five minutes. The next day, I began experiencing buyer's remorse because I had always worn a halo-style ring and wasn't sure I would love the new design. I contacted the company to cancel my order, but I was told the ring was no longer eligible for return because changing the center stone made it a "custom" order. I respectfully disagreed, as selecting a different standard stone size did not seem like a custom alteration. Nevertheless, I decided to keep the order. I wore the ring set for the first time on July 19, the day after my wedding. Less than 24 hours later, the far-left stone on the wedding band fell out. Two days later, the center stone also fell out during normal daily wear. I was on my honeymoon in Hawaii and wasn't doing anything strenuous—simply enjoying my vacation. The ring had not been exposed to any unusual activity or abuse. Ironically, I had worn a much less expensive moissanite ring from Amazon for two years, including while playing pickleball, without ever losing a stone. Losing two stones from a bridal set costing more than $2,300 within days of wearing it was both shocking and incredibly disappointing. When I returned home, I emailed Beverly Diamonds on July 29 and also left two voicemails on Thursday and Friday in an effort to resolve the matter directly. I did not receive a response until after I posted this review. When the company did respond, I was surprised to be told that before they would assist me, I first needed to remove my negative review because management would not consider my case while the review remained posted. I was disappointed that resolving my concerns appeared to be contingent upon removing an honest review rather than addressing the issues with the ring itself. At that point, I lost confidence not only in the quality of the product but also in the customer service process. The combination of being told my order was "custom" because of a standard 4-carat to 5-carat stone-size change, having two stones fall out almost immediately after wearing the ring, and then being asked to remove my review before receiving assistance ultimately led me to walk away from the company altogether. This review reflects my personal experience from purchase through my interactions with customer service. I had hoped for a beautiful ring and a positive experience, especially for something as meaningful as my wedding set. Unfortunately, that was not my experience.
