Anna
False test results for HPV
I had HPV in my body for over 2 years, then I decided to take a new test with Better2Know which turned out negative, I was very happy. 3 months later, I took it again at my usual hospital and it came back positive. This is extremely disappointing as I made important life decisions based on the Better2Know test results. I contacted them demanding a refund and that they review what went wrong, only to be told that their test is correct but it doesn't cover all types of HPV! The customer service agent has been very kind and promptly responded to all my questions, but I haven't seen my money back. I can't recommend this service at all. Thanks for the reply, this is what I've already been told. What I don't understand and am complaining about is how someone can hire your service to find out if they have ANY of the strains, and be given a positive when that is not true. The results and the communication is misleading and the test is useless, as far as I can tell.

Dear Anna, I am sorry that you are disappointed. As I am sure you know there are over 100 strains of HPV, 40 of which can be sexually transmitted and 14 of them are High Risk for cancer. They all have a number If you can help us to understand which strains you have tested positive for, then we can see if these are the ones that you tested for with us. This will help you to understand your result. Thank you.
