Think Twice Before Booking…
This review is written after much thought and consideration. I booked a trip for my daughter and I to the Serengeti. I wanted to give my only child a special experience and memory of our time on this earth together. Unfortunately, the first few days of the trip were extremely disappointing. We were promised a resort and we were booked at a deplorable location. The accommodations were awful, the air conditioning didn’t work, there was no phone, ants in the bathroom, and we were assigned a room with a single bed. If we needed anything, we were required to go to the ‘front desk’ where the representatives didn’t speak English. We paid for all of our meals out of pocket; which were supposed to be included. The advertisement explained how we could lay on the beach, which was impossible. And the poverty stricken area we were in was uncomfortably safe. As guests we had a conference call with the owner, while on ‘vacation’ and eventually we were disappointed with the customer service. It was an extremely stressful way to start our unforgettable trip. The group was offered a small refund which I considered a slap in the face and refused to accept. My counteroffer was reasonable but it was rejected. I would think twice before booking an international trip with this company.
