Bay ideal for snorkeling
The snorkeling at Hanauma Bay was excellent. You could snorkel from shallow water up to five feet deep in warm water with a calm surface. There were alternating strands of sandy and coral bottoms. There were small and larger fish of all colors, many beautiful. It was easy to quietly float and view the living coral and fish. A great experience. After swimming over a coral bed it was easy to get back to a sandy bottom to stand up to get back to the beach. I liked this snorkeling equipment because the breathing tube came with a filter to stop water from entering. This was my best snorkeling experience.
