I've been a loyalist Bernhardt customer for the last decade utilizing their platform as turn key flip homes in the U.S. Over the last years, I noticed they've gone away from quality manufacturing and are incorporating cheap components to maximize profitability. My suggestion to consumers is save your money and purchase either better quality or less expensive for better pricing. Bernhardt lost a very good customer and will never return. Sidebar: window dressing is for store fronts, not quality furniture.

I bought an office chair online made by Bernhardt via TopModern. The chair was fairly expensive, and I felt I would get a quality chair. ! eagerly waited a couple weeks for it to arrive. When I received it, I was shocked! The chair itself was not comfortable at all; it felt like I was sitting on a brick; there was no way I could make that work and ended up asking for a refund--of course I had to pay $180.00 to send it back. Based on my experience, I cannot/ will not recommend the Bernhardt Davenport adjustable office chair; not sure why this chair was made this way from such a reputable company

Would not purchase again. I would not recommend the cabinetry. Poor QC (made in Indonesia). Door hardware failed after just two years. Company not helpful. Now doors do not close properly, and some do not align--perhaps wood expansion. Finish on Salon collection stains very easily. For the price, or slightly more, you will easily find better made cabinetry. Shop around for good pricing.
