Teachers are really nice, Berlitz's staff are friendly and responsive as well. I am very satisfied with Berlitz.

I am very satisfied with my teacher at Berlitz (Julie Coudert) and support I got from administrative staff during pandemic telework. I would recommend Berlitz to my colleagues or anyone to study a foreign language.

The instructor I had through Berlitz was fantastic. She was very knowledgeable in all aspects of the language and culture of the region. She was very patient, understanding, and accessible for questions. My specific course was a daily intense immersion course and my instructor was incredible. My only complaint would be the Newrow platform used by Berlitz for online training was often plagued with bugs, crashes, or other issues. This improved as new versions were deployed, but this was very distracting early on during its initial deployment.

My teacher Wilfred was terrific. He was very patient and made sure I completely understood the material before we progressed to the next session. He also made sure the sessions were as productive as possible, encouraged me to provide real world examples and was flexible in terms of scheduling.

I tried a beginners Spanish with Berlitz and was very pleased with my progress in Spanish. I would recommend them for anyone serious in learning a new language.

I had one on one private lessons. They were ok. I asked for more on demand conversation/ spontaneous conversation but I read 80% of the time. It wasn't very flexible or easy to make or change appointments. It took me two weeks to get started after I had paid. Also the instructor occasionally took a brief pause during our session to answer the phone or assist the other people in his home. So a bit disruptive. Things I did like- talking to a native speaker and improving my accent and speech!

The course wasn't really helpfull in my opinion. The teacher never explained to me grammar rules, she was too quick and quite hasty. Then she coughed and blew her nose all the time. She was really annoying. I coudn't even listen the audio for the noise she made. The tools during the lesson didn't work properly. They were awful. The materials online had a lot of mistakes and the audio sometimes did't work. Only the customer service was really nice and helpfull despite all the problems they faced all the time. I don't know how many tickets I opened for assistance. Really really bad.
