Ever feel like you are just not sized right on your new bike? Or you didn't quite get the bike you originally went to the store to buy? We've heard the stories from both customers and customer’s friends who have been steered in a wrong direction in a bike sale. Maybe it's because the shop didn't carry the type of bike they wanted, had a particular model they needed to liquidate or maybe they didn't have the right size in stock, but still wanted the sale. That is definitely not the way to treat a new bike customer or any customer. A shop like that isn't concerned about your need or comfort on a bike; they just wanted a sale. Once you’re out the door...its money in their cash drawer and they're on to the next.We strive to make sure you're getting the right bike for your type of riding. Not only that; we won't put you on a bike that doesn't fit you properly. These are important things to us and they should be even more important to you. We want you to love riding your bike and will do our best to make sure you do.

Sourcing parts for classic bikes (in my case, a 1972 Peugeot PX-10) is difficult unless you find the right sources, and Ben's is now one of them. I needed an inexpensive but good-qualityFrench headset and two handlebar clamping bolt sets for Nitto (1-inch quill) stems. Ben's had both a Velo Orange French headset and the Nitto bolt-washer-nut sets at the best prices--PLUS free shipping. Everything was shipped and arrived quickly. Now all I need to do is build the bike up for Eroica California inApril 2016... ;-)
