They do not pay out the account bonus as promised. I opened up my account with bellco thinking I would get a bonus after a direct deposit hit. Nope! Waste of time and mental energy. Trash credit union and annoying ads.

1-Star Review Very disappointing experience with Bellco Credit Union regarding a vehicle warranty cancellation. Before my auto loan was paid off, I contacted Bellco multiple times about canceling the warranty/service contract. I was told by several Bellco employees that they were very familiar with this situation and that Bellco would definitely help me with the cancellation, but that I needed to wait until my loan was paid off. I followed their instructions and waited. Now that the loan has been paid in full, Bellco is telling me they cannot help because they are no longer the lienholder. This is extremely frustrating because I specifically waited based on what multiple Bellco employees told me. If I had been told that Bellco would no longer be able to assist once the loan was paid off, I would have pursued other options before payoff. I have asked Bellco to review the prior calls and account records and explain why I was instructed to wait if they would ultimately refuse to assist after payoff. My concern isn't simply that Bellco won't help now—it's that I relied on repeated assurances from their employees and was then given a completely different answer after following their instructions. I am now having to escalate the matter through the BBB and Colorado consumer-credit authorities. I hope Bellco will review what happened and take responsibility for how this was handled.

Absolute waste of time and irrational denial for a HELOC. I have a high credit score, have over 1 million dollars in equity in my property, and very low debt. They damaged credit by pulling it, waste time filling out paperwork when I already explained my scenario in full. Bellco could have their criteria already in place and told me that they wouldn't approve it based on what I explained. All they are doing with their low interest rate ads is baiting people for data. I don't want to hear your response Bellco. My situation was an absolute solid bet. Why bother sending out the HELOC disclosures.

I started to switch from another bank to Bellco, I did this 100% online about a month ago and I tried to deposit a check - refund today using their mobile app, it stated there was an error and to try again. I called Bellco Customer Service and their agent said they don't allow new members to deposit checks for 30 days and there was an account restriction in place, since they don't know me. How many banks know all of their customers personally anyway? What's 30 days going to tell them about me? Their mobile App gives no feedback to what origin of the error or what the problem is, it just gives an error, try again later. Restricting new customers from making deposits is bad business. They have a photo of the check front and back that is associated with my name which protects them from fraud, this is awful customer service. They need way too much information just to help me with an issue. I finally asked if they needed my first-born's birth certificate too. I'm all for security but it gets to a point when it's ridiculous. I told the agent that I would be removing my funds I had transferred and I would be closing my account with Bellco. I wasted $60 bucks on their expensive checks. They haven't made a good first impression.

Everything seemed fine with Bellco when we got the car loan. 6 months in I paid off the loan of $28K. Called and got the pay off and sent the check. The check took over 16 days to process. I had not heard from Bellco for over a month, so I called, since I had not received anything from them stating the pay off. I was told that I had a balance of $48.77, even though I got the pay off from them (a 10 day pay off) and sent the check that day. Representative said that he was sorry but it takes longer at Bellco to process checks, longer than other banks because they are a bit behind the times. There was no ability to change the situation. So I said, fine--I will pay the amount, but I will let everyone know how Bellco operates. Not impressed, go somewhere else.

They should understand the costumers, how ever they bully every one like only they exist

I woke up this morning to find out that my car had been repossessed. I was under the impression that I had automatic payments being taken out of my bank account. This is my bad. No question my bad. I was 67 days late paying. They were sending notices to an incorrect address. They admitted they have the correct mailing address on file even though they were sending to my street address (in a town that has no mail delivery service). The fact that they were sending notices to the wrong address changes nothing for them. I owe a little over 1000 to bring my account current. The repossession fee is $1098. I asked and begged if this could be reduced. Absolutely not. I asked for a breakdown since the fee is so outrageous. This is what the rep told me: 450 repossession fee, 498 flatbed fee, 150 "other fee". Other fee? Yes that's how they broke it down. A joke. After I paid this outrageous fee (with no justification even for the $150 "other fee"), the manager DID NOT HAVE MY CAR RELEASED UNTIL THE POUND CLOSED. Tomorrow they are open 10-5. I work 7-5 in Breckenridge. Can I miss work after paying this out of control fee? You might notice that today is December 23rd. The place is closed on Christmas and is charging me 130/day. If I tell you that each of the 4 Bellco employees I spoke with were horrible to me. Just mean and terrible people. Each ruder than the last. I have no words. If you have a choice do not bank here.

I've had nothing but trouble since I opened an account with Bellco Credit Union recently. The agent was new, but tried to be helpful but the Bellco systems were overwhelming. I had to rewrite my vitals on numerous pages taking a lot of time. You would have thought that you were still in the age of carbon pager not computers. Since opening my account I've been prevented from reaching it online due to constant problems trying to login to my account. I've dealt with three IT people who although very friendly haven't been able to figure out why once I've fixed the login problem it prevents me from being able to login again. I'm still nervous about my account as I received 2 identical letters from Bellco with the heading of Bellco Student Banking showing that I have a zero account balance. I'm 78 and haven't had a student loan for decades and never with Bellco. Not being able to login & see what they list for my account balance combined with these letters is keeping me on edge. I hope to be able to retrieve my money from Bellco & transfer it it to a way more efficient company. Rick
