Today is where the future becomes a reality, and that’s why we believe that every “today” should be extraordinary. People-centric design and an obsession with details are at the core of what we do at Belkin. We empower people to get more life out of every single day with our extensive range of products delivering power, protection, connectivity, audio, and smart home solutions. From humble beginnings in a 1980s Southern California garage to celebrating 40 years as a market leader and innovator in 2023, our ethos has always been about connection. As a diverse, global technology company, Belkin is still inspired and driven by the connection between people and technology.

I had my screen cracked so I tried to contact them through the website as it says in the warranty that I would be covered for any damage but they don’t answer by chat and I can’t find any email that I could contact them.

Worst experience ever
Worst experience ever! There customer service is terrible! I've been waiting over a month for my product and still nothing but even a tracking number. I've called several times and nothing! Listen to the reviews, these people are scammers!! Beware!

They are pure scammers
They are pure scammers. I have no earthly idea why a big company like Apple is destroying its reputation by working with such a low level company. You'll be promised 2 years warranty upon purchase with Belkin, however don't be fooled as they will not fulfill their promises.

Belkin drahtloser Boost Up Ladeständer
Belkin drahtloser Boost Up Ladeständer

Insight Plug
I have an insight plug that I bought a little over a year ago. I could not get it to work with Google Home. Belkin said changes were coming. I waited and not it will not even work with the Wemo app. I called tech support who had me walk through steps I had already tried. They asked me when I bought it, and the told me that the warranty had expired and they could not replace the devie.

Belkin has forever lost my trust due to…
Belkin has forever lost my trust due to their decidedly horribly non-customer centered decision to end the NetCam program resulting in completely unusable devices with no compensation except for their most recent customers. Forget those who have stuck with Belkin for years, because we are meaningless to Belkin. Forget that Belkin actually changed the firmware since I purchased the camera disabled 3rd part support and forcing customers to stay within their ecosystem, and ecosystem which is the stated reason now for the EOL giving customers only weeks to find a new solution in the middle of a global pandemic. Forget, as a theme, is something I will be doing with Belkin. Belkin, you are dead to me.

I ordered a phone charger online from…
I ordered a phone charger online from Belkin, as a guest through PayPal, having first checked all my personal details were correct on PayPal. When I received the confirmation email, whilst the billing address was correct, the shipping address had changed to an old address. I immediately tried to contact to correct this, I tried unsuccessfully over 3 days, countless calls to several people, hours/days wasted! They are all polite but completely useless. This is a most unprofessional company who are geared towards data collection rather than to provide a good service. I am £14.99 out of pocket and with no goods. Don’t touch this company with a barge pole. Belkin products are reasonable but purchase from someone else because if there’s a problem Belkin won’t sort it. Good luck!

Belkin damage their own product with customers footing the bill.
Belkin have pulled a move which means cameras they sold to people will never work again. If you bought it in the last year you can get your money back. Earlier purchasers have to fight for minimal compensation by filling in a form and then jumping through hoops for virtually nothing (if you priced the time you would probably be down). Quite how they can legally do this in the UK where a product has to be fit for purpose I don't know. They effectively sold me a piece of plastic. What is worse is that the cameras used to work independent of the Belkin service. Belkin first deliberately changed this to make them only work with Belkin servers to try to make more money. When they decided they were still not making enough money they decided to shut the Belkin servers down leaving their customers with nothing for their money. Belkin profits v Customers = Belkin comes first. A very short term move done during lock-down! The least they could have done was re-open them to third parties again - they would only have to turn back the software. How they can get away with this crime?
