Small business owners: save your money!! Becreatives advertises 'unlimited video editing' — in reality, days of silence and almost no deliverables
I paid close to $800 for beCreatives' video editing subscription service and had an incredibly frustrating experience from start to finish. I want to share my story so other small business owners don't make the same mistake I did. The platform was buggy from day one. I couldn't even get my first request submitted without hitting technical issues. Not the first impression you want from an expensive service. The turnaround time is not what they advertise. They market "unlimited video editing," but in practice you get one edit per day — and that includes revisions. So if the editor makes a mistake and you need a correction, that counts as your one edit. I spent more time writing feedback than I would have if I'd just edited the videos myself. There is zero continuity with editors. I was switched between editors multiple times throughout my subscription. Every time, I had to start from scratch building a style guide and communication rhythm. Just as I was finally getting into a flow with one editor, I was assigned someone new — without warning and without my input. Losing that continuity completely undermined the value of the service. Editors go silent for days at a time. On multiple occasions, my editor went radio silent for 3+ consecutive days with no explanation and no proactive communication. During a paid "Pro Plan" trial week, I received edits on exactly one video the entire week. When I raised concerns, I was told editors sometimes "get into deep work mode." That's not acceptable when someone is paying for a daily deliverable. Account access is revoked when your subscription lapses — even for files you already paid for. The moment my plan ended, I was locked out of everything I'd created. That felt completely wrong. Customer service is responsive but ineffective. My account manager Justina was genuinely kind and communicative, and I appreciate that. But responsive communication without actual resolution isn't customer service — it's just delay. The problems kept repeating, the credits and plan extensions didn't make up for the lost time and output, and nothing was ever truly fixed. If you're a small business owner investing limited dollars into content creation, beCreatives is not worth the cost. The gap between what they promise and what they actually deliver is significant. I'd strongly encourage you to look elsewhere.

Hi Hannah! Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. We would like to clarify a few important points for accuracy and transparency: Our service model operates on a daily production workflow, where tasks are handled sequentially by a dedicated editor assigned to your plan. This means work is completed one request at a time, rather than multiple videos being produced simultaneously. We understand from your feedback that your expectations may have differed from how the service is structured, and we will continue improving how we communicate this in our marketing materials to avoid any confusion. Our team has completed 19 video requests for you so far, which is in line with the expected output for our Scale plan. While we stand by the volume of work completed, we recognize that the perceived pace of delivery did not align with your expectations. Regarding editor continuity, please rest assured that consistency and proactive communication are key priorities for us, and we are actively improving our internal processes to better support this. We also appreciate your recognition of our account management team. In addition to ongoing support, our team made multiple efforts to resolve your concerns, including having offered compensation and alternative solutions. Your subscription has continued, and we are happy that your recent feedback about the quality of our videos has been positive, despite the unfortunate first impressions. Your comments about account access after subscription end have also been noted, and we are reviewing how we can make this experience more user-friendly and transparent. Please rest assured that the current workflow you are referencing is simply an automated process by our system, and there is no ill intent behind it — We are always just a message away to manually grant you access to your past videos right away if you so ask. While we regret that your experience did not reflect the level of service we aim to provide, we do believe it’s important to clarify how the service is intended to function for others reading this review. If you are open to it, we would welcome the opportunity to continue reviewing your case further and address any outstanding concerns directly. Please feel free to reach out to us at [email protected] Thank you again for your feedback — it truly helps us improve.
