Foundation Range is Way Too Limited
Your foundation range is minimal. I had to purchase two foundation shades in hopes of getting a match; neither foundation was light enough nor warm/yellow toned enough for my skin. I contacted support, and no refunds or exchanges were offered. I essentially blew unnecessary money on a company that was built on the sentiment of saving money. The skincare I've received is above average, but I'm seriously reconsidering my subscription. It's a shame because I liked the foundation formula. It's great that you're expanding your foundation range darker, but there are also multi-racial people like myself who are very fair (lighter than your palest foundation) with yellow and olive undertones. Your line could benefit from shades like Nars Siberia and Nars Gobi.
Response from Beauty Pie™ - USAJun 18, 2020
Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear you weren't able to find your perfect shade match. As a young company and beauty start up, we couldn't afford to release as many in between shades as we would have liked originally. Now we have grown bigger, we are currently developing more shades to expand our shade range so it is more inclusive for different skin tones and under tones. We wish for everyone to be able to find products right for them on the Beauty Pie website and it's important to us that everyone feels welcome and catered for when shopping our products. I hope this helps to explain and that you can find your shade once the expanded range of foundations are launched. Kind regards, Nikki
