This review is strictly for the website. The site loads very slowly for me even on a strong internet connection, and I get a lot of errors when doing searches, adding items to wish list, etc. Sometimes it logs me out for no reason. The products themselves are amazing, and worth 5 stars! I just wish the site was better.

Not a lot of details or guidance about the program which leaves one wondering when/how to navigate deliveries etc.

My first order took forever to arrive! When it did arrive it was missing my mascara . I called and the woman on the phone e said they would ship it right out...well 2 weeks later I’m still waiting for it. I called again 3 days ago and they said they would get it shipped ( so they never shipped it in the first place) I like the shampoo and conditioner I received, but the shipping is so slow I may go elsewhere

So I paid $99 plus the cost of the product, another $30....and I can't place another order. So that's $130 for 2 products. You advertise...You have saved $169.47 shopping with BEAUTY PIE today. Not really if I put in $99. I understand it's "luxurious products" but I probably won't renew. I'm just giving my 2 cents. I'll go back to birchbox.

Thank you for your review, I'm sorry to hear you've not been satisfied with our messaging regarding how much you've saved on your order, please be aware that this is in relation to the Typical Price vs the Member Price of each item purchased. I like the products, but their shipping cost is high. I have the $100/month membership. I bought a retinol face cream that I like that is supposedly worth $95, but I pay $12 for. Add on the $10 for my monthly membership, the about $9 for shipping and I'm paying about what I would pay for a comparable product that I buy from the store. I doubt I'll continue when my membership is up.

I think it’s a great model in general but not super for those with ultra sensitive skin. They use a lot of fragrances in their facial products which my skin just can’t tolerate.

The prices and the variety of products are amazing. I've only started trying them but so far the quality of the products is very, very good. I have three complaints/criticisms though: (1) the frangrances in many of the products (particularly hair products) is too strong. They linger all day and interfere with my wearing perfume or another scent. (2) it wasn't clear from the outset that your spending limit is based on the non-member price instead of the member price. When that was explained to me I felt like I had been scammed a bit. (3) I would prefer more natural products and/or products that don't have unnecessary ingredients in them (like "fragrance"). I'm placing my second order today and trying some different products. Excited to see how it turns out.

Thank you for your review. We're thrilled to hear you're enjoying our products and that you've been impressed with the quality. However we are really sorry to hear the fragrance in the hair products is too strong for your liking. Please note we are always trying to develop and improve and will certainly pass this feedback onto our Product Development Team so we can consider this moving forward! We are also sorry to hear you didn't understand the way the business model worked when you first joined Beauty Pie. We do make this clear in the FAQ's and also on the Terms and Conditions that you must agree to when signing up with Beauty Pie, but we will certainly take this feedback on board and try to make it even clearer through our social channels. Often with products that have beneficial natural ingredients, the natural ingredients can bring a strong, unique scent and that's often why you'll find products have fragrance in the first place, to cover the scent of these natural ingredients. We are always trying to make sure our skincare is fragrance free when we are able to, but sometimes fragrance is necessary for the reasons just mentioned. Please note we're always working on ways around this and have been improving on this by re-launching product favourites without fragrance. Please email us at [email protected] if you would like a list of all of our fragrance free products and we will be more than happy to help! Kind regards, Nikki

This is the first time I have used beauty pie products and I have mixed reviews. I feel like the applicators are poorly made. I unfortunately bought an eye shadow and lip stick where I did not like the color at all. I was really hoping the volume mascara would make my eyelashes pop and the applicator again does not make the lashes flare.

Thank you for your review. We are so sorry to hear you weren't a fan of the applicator/brush on the mascara you purchased. It's also a shame to hear you weren't happy with the shade of eyeshadow and lipstick you purchased from us. We would love to hear your feedback as we're always trying to improve and open to hearing from our PIE members! Please contact us on [email protected] where we will be more than happy to help you further with this. Kind regards, Nikki
