I get the membership fee, but when you sign up, it’s very unclear that the purchase limit is linked to the “retail price” and not what you’re actually paying. I liked the products well enough, but between the membership cost & the fact that shipping is $8, you’re basically paying $20 on top of whatever is charged. I ended my membership because I just wasn’t convinced of the value.

I finally received my first order 19 days after placing the order. That in itself is disturbing. Nothing should take almost 3 weeks to travel across country. Almost as disturbing was their attitude about it. I know once it leaves their facility it's a shipper issue, but change shippers. This is not an uncommon problem......read the reviews (which I did not before I joined, that's on me). I decided to place a second order to see if maybe the second time was better. That was 7 days ago and it's been sitting in PA since Thursday of last week. About the products.......the products I received I really like. They seem to be good quality, it's not been long enough to know how they're working but so far so good. Now, what? I'm a typical American.....I want my stuff fast. 9.00 shipping for three weeks, that's not a value. I'm not sure what I will do. For now, I'm not recommending Beauty Pie to friends. **UPDATE** The products are phenomenal. Everything I have purchased I have loved. BUT the shipping time is unacceptable. I have placed 4 orders, the first almost 3 weeks, the next 3 have been 2+ weeks. Unless they start offering better shipping options I am not going to continue. Too bad.

I have ordered 3 times. It seems to take so long to get the order filled and then FedEx is the delivery provider. They are awful. They missed the delivery date by 2 days. Paying $8.29 for delivery, not the problem, the time it takes is the problem. I can get things overnight for free from Amazon. I know they have their own trucks but...Try a different vendor for delivery as FedEx is the most money and they are SLOW

From my point of view, what I hope to get out of a beauty pie subscription is a complete regrouping of all beauty supplies, normally I use 4+ sources for skin care and make up, my hope was to consolidate and save money. Which would be possible, if I had the patience to save up for several months of $10/ month. I also didn't appreciate the bump ups, it just seems more complicated than it needs to be, I feel you're asking me to pay for the right to pay you. A little ridiculous. I am unwilling to pay more per month just for use of the system. When the shipping, and subscription fees are tacked on, the month by month value is not really worth the added expense. Typically I'll spend $20-$60 a month on beauty supplies, I use a lot of Korean products, and I typically don't spend much more than $20 per product. I was delighted when I found the ordinary, but I dislike their piecemeal system. So, I'll likely cancel beauty pie soon and go back to scavenging through multiple suppliers. I love beauty supplies too, I just really dislike added fees.

I joined thinking this was smart after reading a positive article in The New York Times. However, I have canceled my new suscription after reading the reviews. Yes, many are glowing reports but I always take reviews with a grain of salt as people who are complaining about minor issues. If there are too many highly scored ones I also am suspicious as some will likely be prepaid or fake. However, there appears to be a serious and valid problem with the COST of shipping and also the DELAYS in delivering products. That is a serious infrastructure problem. Who needs the hassle of delayed shipments and excessive mailing charges? I will check in about six months to see if the company has improved in this area. Buyer Beware still holds true.

I would have given beauty pie 4 or possibly even 5 stars. Their products are very good quality with some products being a little small but mostly of average size. Shipping was above average speed. However, I have asked customer service repeatedly the cancel my account & to stop charging my account every month. This "pandemic" has has been tough on my industry & I have lost my job because of it. Beauty pie is still making monthly charges to my account & it looks like I may be forced to take legal action against them. Too bad, I really did live the products

Shipping just takes to long. Not impressed will probably not continue.

Alleged market value is overinflated, which limits my final budget to the point that even if I capped my subscription model, I couldn’t use a full routine of my preferred skincare products much less try hair, body, or other items such as candles. If the intent is to just dabble a bit without ever committing to a recurring product then well done, but otherwise I am left frustrated and uncertain I want to proceed in trying anything new for fear that I won’t be able to sustain it moving forward. Pie days don’t cut it.
