BSBCIL's BCBA-D Dr. Fountain NPI 1043613698 in my opinion is the worst clinician I have ever spoken to. I have grave ethical concerns regarding our conversation. BCBSIL is a greedy company that needs immediate state and federal regulation as their denials are nonsensical and non-factual, and against the spirit of the law, including the Mental Health Parity Act. Formal Complaint filed, Ethics Complaint Filed. Appeals in Process. If you are a family with this insurance company, run!!!!! Worst Provider Experience in 20 years of doing this work

Bcbs obviously does not care what score they get with numbers like 1.5 and 1.6. Too bad we can’t give negative numbers. The computer had me begging for help after 2 1/2 hours and five extra calls because it disconnected us the people except for the last one were totally incompetent and the AI can go to hLL. can’t complain about service cause there isn’t any sorry old joke, but it works better than they do.

Worst insurance company I've ever had and I've been through 7 since 1986. Too many denials and duplicate charges for appointment paid in the past with no resolution either through phone or letters. Stay away.

Once again, BCBSIL paid the WRONG provider and is asking me to pay them back instead of retrieving the mistake to an in-network provider!!! Been with BCBS rep for 25 minutes and she did nothing to help and should be fired!!!!

Extremely disappointed with BCBSIL IPBC Health Advocates. Communication was consistently poor, I got shuffled between reps, promises weren't kept, and basic follow-up just didn't happen. I spent hours chasing answers I never got. For a service that's supposed to advocate for patients, I felt totally on my own. Unacceptable experience.

I cannot afford to be their customer. It’s like the ACA never happened. I should just pretend I don’t have health insurance. They don’t do their job.

Literally just wanted to reach the billing department to retrieve a fax number. Not even a member. Putting someone on hold for 20+ minutes isn't going to make them go away.

BSBS of Illinois Insurance increased my premiums by about 15% a couple of monhs after signing up for Medicare. I pay my premiums automatically through auto debit from my checking account. The only way I found out about the increased premium was via review of my bank statement. They did the same thing to my wife's premium 2 months after she initially signed up for medicare. No notification. No email. Just an unexpected price change without telling the customer.
