Never in Canada again.
Just recieved my very first b.b.Simon belt for my 25th Wedding Anniversay. I followed the sizing information and my belt is 6 inches too big. When I called customer service there was difficulty understanding my problem. Thier client service representative offered the following: an exchange, because I live in Canada the shipping with duties and taxes would be another 100.00 plus a potential re - stocking fee. the other option was for me to sell it online get some money back and rebuy the belt. Do you believe that so the belt was $265.00 plus 38.00 Fedex shipping, 62.76 duties, taxes and brokerage fees is 365.76. thats 100.76 dollars more than the belt. to exchange it but don't forget they are sending it back so another 38.00 for shipping and 62.76 for duties and taxes and brokerage fees. Would bring the belt to a total of 466.52. An extra 201.25 cost to your clients to correct a problem that was not mine in the first place. b.b. Simon you aren't worth that to me so never again will I buy a belt from you no matter how beautiful it is. As for now I will have a shoe repair company remove a crystal and make another hole. At least your client service could have better options for your clients. Maybe look at how wonderfully Amazon does it. In addition to this they are misleading clients by not posting the currency. I have now been charged in US dollars. None of the invoicing or confirmation indicate its in american funds which is against our consumer protection law. It led me to believe the funds wete canadian. I calling Visa and filing a claim with our Bureau of Consumer Affairs and repirying this.
