Very Pleasant Smell!
Because this has not gone through the traditional hot process it doesn’t have that strong burnt smell. So you can apply it to your scalp and wear it out and not worry about your hair stinking. I still have a jar of the original and use it as a pre-poo scalp treatment. (I put it on the night before and wash my hair the next day). So now, after I wash my hair I apply the cold process to my scalp and edges. My recommendation is to buy BOTH. Because I tested the cold process as an overnight pre-poo treatment and it didn’t seem as potent. But it could just be me. So I will continue to buy both because they work. Using the Batana oil on my scalp + taking MSM has grown my edges back and my hair is literally back to how thick it was before I had kids.
