Placed my order during the weekend and was contacted first thing Monday.
My order was a customized size and on Monday I was notified that they were so happy about the order and just wanted to double check a measurement.
After I replied I was told the coat was to be made on Wednesday, and to my surprise it was sent out on Thursday already. Arrived FRIDAY. Amazing. (To Sweden btw).
The coat was really well made, exactly as expected and felt luxurious and heavy. Super happy about being able to have two coats in one. Thank you Bastet Noir!! <3

The best customer service! The team was very responsive and transparent with the ordering process and turnaround time for delivery once I placed my order.
And most importantly, the dress was beautiful…I chose the teal color in a custom size and the dress fit well and complimented me perfectly! Will be ordering again

Expensive mistake
Writing this review to make people aware this company is based in Macedonia and if ordering from the UK it makes the returns process extremely costly and stressful.
The quality was good but the trench coat wasn’t exactly what I was looking for. I attempted to cancel my order at one point when I was advised of a delay but instead I eventually received an email saying my request ended up in their junk folder.
Returning an item has cost me £33 in courier charges. Bastet Noir also instruct you to declare the value as $0 to avoid delays at customs which felt really risky. If DHL lost my parcel I wouldn’t be able to claim the money back. The £33 is in addition to the restocking fee. Despite being advised that this would cost me $40 in a email the company have taken $60 from my refund.
Update: at least they acknowledged that the returns policy I saw at the time of ordering was different to the one they were referring me to. Offer of a credit note but no refund of the additional $20 taken.

Let me first appologize for the delayed answer. We sorry to hear that you had an unpleasant customer experience with our label. We aim to respond to customer emails within 1 - 3 business days. We're an extremely small team here. I personally went through our emails and didn't seem to find any request regarding the refund. Could you please send us your order number, so I can investigate this further? Thank you.
As for where our production is based, we're fully transparent on our website about the location. The entire process is well documented everywhere from our website all the way across our social media channels. Our entire model rests on supporting socially vulnarable groups of women in Macedonia.
As far as the customs remark goes, we advise our customers to do this so as for you not to end up paying additional unecessary charges for custom fees which will also imply longer wait time for you to receive the refund. I'm not sure what you're referring to when you say this is risky, as there's no risk whatsoever involved in any of this for you as a customer.

We're a small label that adheres to a no-waste policy and works with a local community of women single parents and women domestic abuse victims. This means all refunds are subjected to a 40$ restocking fee per item. We want to build a sustainable brand that pays its production partners fairly and on time and since all of them are paid per every item made, we need to ensure at least the production cost is covered and their time is fairly compensated.
Please note that refunds include only the price of the item, without the shipping cost, the restocking fee and the processing fee.

Very helpful in de process of ordering & most importantly delivering a stunning dress that fits me perfectly, kind for people and planet & affordable! What more can a woman want <3. Thank you very much! The only remark I have it that more pictures of the different colors would helped me in making my choice. Since I had the dress custom made, I needed to make the right choice at once, based on one picture, which was a bit stressful. (; I am very pleased with the purple in the end though.

Loved everything
Loved everything - the sizing chart was helpful and when I placed my order I got a personal email from the owner who provided info about the team making the order then it being shipped. The shipping was fast and when I followed up in the email, I got a very speedy response. Dress is very well made and packaged in a cute way
