Do not put your money here. They're all nice and friendly until you want to get your money out. Then it's nearly impossible. And they have "no supervisors available" at any point to talk to you and when they promise someone will call you back, they don't. They do not call you back. So if the person you're talking to can't help, you're screwed. I've been trying to get my money out for days and I'm not closer to getting it than I was before. It's starting to feel like I'm going to have to hire an attorney to get my money out. One of the most frustrating experiences I've had.

Bask Bank has not given me back all my deposited money for the past 8 days now although I keep asking them to do so. What is the reason for the hold-up? What is the reason for that? They haven't told me. It's so frustrating and I'm feeling sick for the past few days because of this. I wrote to complain to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau about my case.

I am a CFE-Retired (retired fraud examiner and auditor) working with my domestic partner to get funds transferred from Bask Bank to her local Credit Union. Three times in the past week she was told she was authorized to make a wire transfer and three times she was subsequently blocked by the bank.

Do not use. User beware. Had money wired from an escrow company My account has been restricted for over a week with no explanation why. No one to talk to, everytime i reach out they give the same prewritten response. Every penny i had $33,000 held for no reason. Do not use

Extremely Disappointing Experience — Account Restricted for Nearly 2 Weeks I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Bask Bank. My account has been restricted for nearly two weeks after I attempted to send a legitimate payment through Zelle. I understand that banks have fraud-prevention procedures, and I fully respect reasonable security measures. However, what is unacceptable is the lack of communication and customer support I have received since the restriction was placed. I contacted Customer Service multiple times and sent two messages through the bank’s support system. I was told my issue had been forwarded to the appropriate department, but I received no meaningful follow-up. I also spoke directly with a representative from the Fraud Department and confirmed the Zelle transaction. I was told that I would regain access to my account and that the Zelle transaction would be sent. Instead, my account remained restricted. When I called again, I was told my case had been assigned to someone named Chris. I requested to speak with a supervisor/manager and asked to be transferred to the Fraud Department. I was told that a supervisor/manager would not speak with me and that I had to wait for Chris to contact me. I was also told I could not be transferred to the Fraud Department. It is now almost two weeks later, and I have still received no phone call, email, or meaningful update from the person handling my case. I have cooperated with the bank and verified the transaction. I should not have to repeatedly call just to get information about access to my own account. I am posting this review so current and prospective customers are aware of my experience. I hope the bank takes this seriously and improves its communication and escalation process. Two weeks without meaningful communication regarding a restricted account is unacceptable.

Bask Bank takes 5 business days to release money transferd to Bask from an external bank. That is UNREASONABLE especially for a customer that has had an account with them for over a year! Don’t waste your time and money with these idiots!

The bank blocked access to my account and are refusing to give me access to my funds until they verify with "their internal team"--whatever that means. After multiple attempts to speak with supervisors I am still being told they are working on it and they have to wait until it is resolved. I am hoping I do not have to take legal action but as soon as my access is restored I am closing both of my savings accounts and will never deal with them again.

I opened a checking account not even a month ago and I tried to zelle my landlord my rent money and bask bank restricted my account for that. I contacted customer service and they are no help. They all say the same thing like they are reading a script. I have to access to my funds so I filed a complaint against them with the OCC and the CFPB. Bask bank is the worst bank ever
