First time ordering custom PCB. It was very easy and quick. Shipped pretty fast and also in the US.

My ValueSpec order (randomly selected substrate and solder mask) was manufactured on 0.8 mm board with matte green mask. While the PCBs work fine, they aren't without fault and the overall experience left a lot to be desired. Pros: ✔️ Smooth edges, with no mousebites or protrusions ✔️ Made in the USA Cons: ❌ My boards were cut obscenely crooked on one side, exposing copper and truncating silkscreen. ❌ Very poor silkscreen resolution: Thick and sloppy, with dull edges. ❌ No quicker to fab than OSHPark's basic service tier (8-9 days), and considerably slower than SeeedStudio (4 days). ❌ More expensive than both OSHPark and Chinese fabs. ❌ Cumbersome, opaque Gerber upload process: Files must be manually renamed prior to uploading and each layer given a very specific filename, and the website has no Gerber viewer to preview how boards will turn out. ❌ ValueSpec (the only affordable service tier) doesn't even allow choice of PCB thickness, which can be critical with THT boards. ❌ Tracking number not provided unless you ask for it.

Beautiful boards, fast, and the price is very low!

This was my 20th order and my first review. The boards have been mostly small, but one was 7x8.5". The quality has always been excellent and this has been the lowest cost alternative for Made in the USA. Chinese boards may be cheaper, but shipping adders may make that not so. I will always buy American when possible and you should too.

Ordered a small PCB for a piece of optical test equipment we needed to make several of. Website interface was easy and the boards, exactly as expected, arrived at the quoted date. Very pleased. Quality looks good, right down to the screen print. Thanks for making it easy!

Everything went smoothly, and the results were excellent. I will not send China my $$$ ever again, and BasicPCB makes it so that I can still afford to keep my business running with US made boards!! No other US supplier I have found could deliver such perfect boards at BasicPCB's price - Thank you BasicPCB, without you I'd be out of business!!!! :)

I just received my the boards for my second design. I am so pleased with the boards I received. I've been searching for a PCB site I can order my boards from and basic pcb does a great job. My next design will be sent to basic pcb for a couple of reasons, the board quality, accuracy and speed of delivery.

Boards were of a good price, and were of good quality. There was a slight delay, but due to covid-19 this was to be expected. After emailing their representatives, I found out that they are a panel-pooling service, and manufacture their boards at Advanced Circuits in Aurora, Colorado. Their website looks shady, and lacks some useful information, but considering how small they were, it makes sense. A useful feature that I would recommend is better detection of gerber layers. Other fabs automatically detect the different layers, as they are often annotated by the output software (i.e. kicad). If you do want to buy american, then this is the place to do it though.
