I’ve been with the rewrite since July 2023. Shenelle helped me so much as I prepared and through my post surgery. I’m not as active these days, but o live the support and encouragement that you can find on the WhatsApp. We are lucky to have the program.

Almost two years after sleeve gastrectomy and never quite making it to my goal, I started slipping back into old habits and the weight was creeping back on. I couldn’t believe how I could “let this happen” after all that hard work to get it off. Through this program and the excellent coaching from Shenelle and all the other coaches I am finally learning why. I didn’t let anything happen. Regain is not your fault. I was caught up in the bariatric snack food industry. If I can only eat a little at a time it might as well be a snack, right? I was living on bariatric protein bars, protein chips, protein cupcakes…. Wait, what?? protein CUPCAKES???? Once I started tracking my food and eating healthy, whole foods again I could feel my pouch! I was not hungry all day. The cravings just stopped. The coaching is helping me retrain my food addict brain and learn to live a healthy lifestyle. You never feel alone in this program. The support is amazing.

I found The Rewrite just after surgery and noticed how different they are from all the other bariatric sites out there. Solid, science backed information on nutrition and the bariatric body, as well as information on obesity and food addiction. The intensive program they offer is helping me to deal with the issues that led to weight gain in the first place and learn to set myself up for success now and in the future. Getting the answers I needed very bluntly vs telling me things that shouldn't have been told to me like oh you can still eat everything just moderate it. No you cant or shouldn't . I love how blunt the coaches are. I had the gastric bypass on December 17th

The Rewrite program is fantastic. The Rewrite Meal Coaching, The Regain Fix, and the 30 day program have been so helpful. Shenelle offers great advice and guidance. Danaye has been so helpful with suggestions after reviewing my food logs. The various online meetings offer great peer support. The online community means you have support 24/7.
