Our barcodes work for Amazon listings, which is why we provide a "Works for Amazon" guarantee, and we clearly explain throughout our Terms of Service, FAQ section, and product pages that Amazon Brand Registry has different requirements if a seller has agreed to obtain barcodes directly through GS1. If a seller has entered into an agreement with Amazon requiring GS1-issued barcodes for Brand Registry, Amazon will only accept numbers purchased directly from GS1. Unfortunately, this is a policy set by Amazon and is outside of our control.
