Great program, I wish the practice focused more on MPT practices and long form exams.

I spent my summer studying day and night for the Bar Exam. As most people usually do, I used Barbri. I think Barbri is the industry standard and they are a good program IF you have the discipline to sit down and study for hours on end. I learned a lot from Barbri but there is a lot of things that I would change about the course. (1) The foundational videos are a COMPLETE waste of time. Please do not bother even watching them, you will thank me later. (2) The suggested hours per day are flawed. I started bar prep early so barbri told me to study 6.5 hours per day (I took off on Saturdays). Barbri does not count any of the multiple choice questions in there practice bank as hours. So in the beginning of bar prep, I would reach my hours - in fact I would exceed them. I would be studying for about 10-12 barbri hours. However, like every person studying for the bar knows you need to be doing A LOT of practice questions. Towards the end of the bar prep I would be doing 100 Barbri question bank questions and 100 Adapibar question per day. (None of which counted towards my "hours"). This gets annoying because while I knew that I was putting in the work, Barbri would tell me "you're behind." (3) Adaptibar is not integrated with Barbri. I didn't know until recently that Barbri owns adaptibar. It would make a lot of sense if they combined the two programs. Overall - I think Barbri is good. However, there is a lot they could do to make the program a must for all law students to use. To anyone reading this, good luck on the bar exam I am sure you are going to do great. Just put in the hours and make sure to get good sleep.

Material covered and the methodology were great. The human reviewers of the essay questions were hit and miss. Most were great, giving detailed comments on what I did well and where to be improved, but the reviewer for Contracts essays gave no comments, just said “try harder.” A waste of a submission.

I enjoyed using BARBRI to study for the July 2025 exam. The videos were helpful, particularly those that involved material that was difficult to grasp (Evidence, Crim Pro). I liked the foundational exam to begin with, however, I wish we did not have to watch the foundational videos. There was inadequate time to really review course material independently -- scheduling 1 hour for a review that takes longer than 1 hour seems inefficent.

Great user interface! I liked the instructors. The Barbri questions seem to be same difficulty of actual bar questions but they still are different. I found Adaptibar to be more similar style.

The foundation videos were not helpful because they just spat out information and even said it would be talked about later. The lecture videos were great and the lecturers were great as well! The barbri calendar was not very user friendly, I couldn’t edit it properly without messing up my hours. I wish we could go back on the calendar and edit as well

The videos, manuels and essay practice were incredible. The multiple choice could be improved. The questions sometimes are just not applicable to what the bar experience was actually like.

I highly recommend the SQE1&2 prep courses with Barbri. The personal study plan is really helpful and takes the additional stress away of having to create and manage a study timetable. The lecturers are really good and there are very helpful workshops in addition to the course content. The assignments keep you on track with feedback throughout the course and the mock exams are well structured.
