I passed the bar, and about 1% of that could be attributed to Barbri. I'm not exaggerating: about 3 out of the 300 multiple choice questions directly pertained to something I studied with Barbri. Supplemental aids not associated with Barbri, my independent studying based on free resources, and law school was what saved me from failing the bar. The customer service was horrendous. They were completely non-receptive to my feedback. My feedback, by the way, was the fact that the Barbri servers were down so often. Every time this happened, I had no access to any Barbri resources. Ironically, this ended up being beneficial for me because all the studying I did outside of Barbri is what helped me on the bar... so, the best thing Barbri did was have bad enough servers that I had to find other resources to supplement Barbri.

The program is subpar. The videos are too drawn out, not enough to the point. The MBE sections are not actual released questions. The program did not work well for me at all. I did not pass the first time. It is also much too expensive for the value.

Didn’t pass bar exam twice and second time around barbri just had me repeat the same material over again.

The videos were entirely too long, it would be helpful for them to be shorter. I would suggest including information on the commonly tested MPTs, formatting and how to attack them instead of only having practice MPTs. Including attack outlines for the most commonly tested material etc. If I would not have supplemented Barbri with additional resources (which I paid a lot for) I would not have felt prepared for the bar exam at all. Considering the cost of Barbri, I would not have expected to have need to spend even more money on additional resources. Having known that, I would’ve chosen a more inclusive bar review.

A BARBRI representative told me on the phone that I would be entitled to a special price for a retake (1,200) and would be allowed a retake if needed. This was not the case, and I am now out a lot of money.

If I could give zero stars, there is no option for that. Did Jan 23 SQE 1 using Barbri online 40 weeks course materials. Exam questiones were way harder than Barbri prep materials and questions. Worst place to study SQE prep courses.

Hello I am doing SQE1 with Barbri but I have lost so many weeks because I cannot login to their online course videos. I have screen shot every login failure and repeatedly raised this with barbri (at evey level from their so called student services to their management team) who were dismissive (‘well we can login to your account’) to say the least! I am absolutely appalled with their lack of support and unprofessionalism. They also tell me that they used to put their study materials online but they do not do this any longer. I would not recommend Barbri to anyone and now I am taking a legal advice to take a legal action against them. They have ruined my study experience, caused tremendous distress ( quite needlessly), wasted my time and money.

I bought the middle most expensive course and it is almost useless. My bsf got Themis and they actually grade her essays and give notes to fill out, my course doesn't and it cost more. Barbri lectures refer to materials that I don't even have and twice the information that the lectures gave was wrong. The website goes out and the app is riddled with issues.
