There were no fees with a Fair account (transaction or otherwise), so you might be mistaking us for a different business. Fair was closed in December of 2022.

We have not heard of anyone having issues with the FairPay mobile app recently. Make sure you are using the most recent version, and contact customer support via our website with any issues as they are very responsive to all inquiries. Thank you.

Abraham - we have other members who have connected their Fair accounts to SoFi and we can assist you in doing that as well, if you speak with Karla in customer service. She will reach out to you soon. We encourage our members to let us know which financial institution they use and we can typically get them added to our network in a week or two. Thank you.

June, to continue your application you should only need to go to https://signup.bankwithfair.com/ and click the "Continue an application" link at the bottom of the page. Any "hoops" are in place for legal and privacy reasons to protect you against someone opening an account in your name, and to protect us from financial loss. Every financial institution is required to collect certain information to adequately verify the identity of the account holder (it's called KYC verification in case you're interested, and is mandated by the US government).
