Timestamping to cut is off by minutes
Not sure how this software received so many five star reviews. I have used the trial version to cut video sections. It NEVER gets the correct timestamps! Ever. I've tried it 30+ times on various types of video files. Anything over an hour is way off by minutes. How? My laptop is high end everything including 64GB memory. Win 11 OS fully updated. All drivers fully updated. Video drivers/software fully updated. Bandicam Version: 2025 v 4. 2. 5. 2562

Hello Jorge, Thank you for your detailed feedback, and we sincerely apologize for the frustration caused by the timestamp discrepancy. With a high-end system like yours, the hardware is definitely not the issue. The timestamp offset you experienced—especially on videos over an hour long—is typically related to the internal structure of the video file itself. If a video uses a Variable Framerate (VFR) or has complex index tracking, Bandicut’s "High-Speed Mode" (which cuts without re-encoding to preserve quality) can sometimes face sync or timestamp issues. While we investigate, you can instantly resolve this by using the "Encoding Mode" in Bandicut, which completely rebuilds the timestamps during the process. To help us fix this permanently for the specific file types you are using, we would appreciate it if you could share a sample video with us.
