I was looking for a mid size bag and had viewed a lot of high end designer bags I liked but I didn't want to pay so much for a bag that would be my secondary bag. I wanted real leather and good craftsmanship without the high end price. I found the satchel and loved it. Shipping took about 2 1/2 weeks and I was very impressed by the quality and look. It looks just like the designer bags but at a fraction of the cost. I am thinking of getting more colors to go with every outfit.

Beginning is an actual bag manufacturer and distributor. I ordered the Wirkin bag from them. They provided me with step by step shipping notifications. I received my Wirkin style bag in exactly 10 days as they said. I got the pink one and they even included 2 twilly scarves. Came very nicely packaged.

This bag looks just like a very expensive big name brand. I fell in love with the blue color of this purse and the crocodile de-bossed leather which in my opinion made a beautiful and interesting bag. The bag arrived quickly and was packaged very nicely. The quality of this bag is nicer than i ever expected. The leather is high quality, the hardware is affixed well, and the color is vibrant and evenly dyed. Storytime, After only having the purse for about a week i put a whole bottle of iced tea in my bag with the top securely tightened...or so i thought. A bit later I reached into my purse for something and found the entire bottle had spilled into the purse. The patent leather was so high quality and the bag is stitched so well that not a drop of the liquid leaked out. The interior of the bag is not lined, it's all patent leather which made it very easy to rinse out with water and pat dry. The bag was good as new with no damage whatsoever! The only downfall in my experience is that my lock was not very secure. It came undone and was lost. The lock is more decoration than function. I love this purse so much that I'll be ordering it in other colors. Absolute must have for this pricepoint!

Hi Robin, Thank you so much for taking the time to share such a detailed and heartfelt review! We are absolutely thrilled to hear how much you love the blue crocodile-embossed bag—from its design and vibrant color to the quality of the leather and hardware. Your "storytime" truly put a smile on our faces! We're delighted (and relieved!) to know that the bag held up so well during the iced tea incident, thanks to the sturdy construction and full-leather interior. That’s exactly the kind of durability and craftsmanship we strive for. We also appreciate your honest note about the lock. While it’s designed to be more of an aesthetic accent, we’ll definitely share your feedback with our product team as we continue to improve our designs. It means the world to us that you plan to order more colors—we can’t wait to help you grow your collection! Warmly, The Baginning Team
