I have the classic bag-a-nut. I really like it and it does help significantly. It doesn't grab as well on uneven ground, but that is understandable. I go fairly slow and go half-way back over a strip I just did and then I am able to get 100 percent of them, minus the ones sunken in or on uneven ground. The key with the bag-a-nut, is to do it frequently and after a fresh wind and get them up then. Waiting would not work as well as the gumballs would tend to get smashed into the ground more. Overall, it saves my back and the extra job of bagging. I give it a 4 star as I wish something could be added to get the ones on the end of the roller to flip in instead of back out again.

Picks up way more trash than expected. Even after cleaning under my trees I still pick up a lot of trash. It requires a lot more attention to ensuring that everything is falling into the baskets and much more frequent dumping of them. Be prepared to somehow separate the nuts from the trash. I bought the pull behind handle and the push handle. I would advise using the push handle for two reasons: 1. If you pull it with a lawnmower you will wear yourself out getting on and off to tend the baskets. 2. The mower will push the nuts that it actually runs over into the soil making it difficult to pick them up.I It is much faster picking up with this than with anything else that I have tried. Just expect to spend additional time dealing with the trah.

We get thousands of sweet gum balls year-round! Our Grab-a-Nut makes short work of removing them from our patio and driveway! Thank you!

Works great but we have grass under our trees so found that the grass needs to be cut short for the Bag-A-Nut to work properly. We also had an early freeze so the pecans didn't fall from the trees like they normally would. The pecans fell a few at a time over a long period and a lot of them did not shed the husk. Looking forward to next year.

Time consuming, but it works!

My husband loves this. He uses it all of the time to pick up gum balls from our trees. He says it’s the only thing that works well.

This has been a God send. My only regret is that I didn’t find it and purchase it sooner. It is pricey, but worth it!

I was skeptical about spending the money for this piece of equipment but it works exactly as designed. The best part is that my 9 year old is the one that uses it the most. Light weight and durable. If you battle sweet gum balls every year, you won't regret this purchase.
