Quickly shipped, easy to assemble. It does pick up other yard stuff (twigs, leaves, legos left by grandkids) but also does a fine job picking up pecans. We have 22 pecan trees & have been able to get buckets of pecans with minimal effort. We just set up a trash can near by to go over to separate the other stuff from the pecans, then dump the nuts in another bucket. Easy.

I received my order very quickly and was sent what I ordered. Will have to wait till next year to evaluate how will it picks up walnuts.

Very handy to pick up pecans in our yard. Easy to use and saves my back from having to stoop over.

We bought the 18" harvester for my grandmother who has several pecan trees and spends a ton of time every year picking up her pecans. This works GREAT. She loves it! She is so hard to buy for and I don't think she has been this excited about a gift in years haha.

Could not use the code FREE 2020 for free delivery as advertised. Also advertised was delivery by wed 11/18 but checkout stating shipping may be at earliest 11/16 with 5 days to deliver? Not sure when I will receive the product and disappointed I could not take advantage of the free shipping offer as advertised.

Second: I am a retired Quality Assurance Manager and i have tried other methods to remove small acorns from my yard. Bag-A-Nut casts shadows on all the others I have used. Yes it is pricey for my use but I understand the number of units sold and the cost of production process directly affects the price needed to make a profit. The cost of the plastic molds are not cheap. With the Bag-A-Nut picker I got what I paid. It has picked up five gallons of acorns in less than 15 minutes, an amount that has taken more than an hour and a half using my wire basket picker. 15 minutes with this unit and 5 with my wire basket unit and the acorns are gone. No method has automatically removed all the acorn tops or acorns that I have stepped on pushing them even with the soil surface. I find the Bag-A-Nut picker tends to slip sideways on a slope, going up and down the slope eliminates slipping but adds to the energy needed to push the unit over the same area. Other reviews speak about needing more weight to get into deeper grass. True. So I added my own weight as in the attached photos. The added weight did increase the sideways slipping. I made my own weight attachment with items I had laying around the house and did not spend extra money on the accessory and two 10 pound dumb bell weights. This made my value for money a bit more tolerable for something I will only use 4 or 5 times a year. One other area that could be fixed in future production is the sloppy fit between the two metal pole pieces and the push handle. I added some metal shim material to take up the slop before tightening the two bolts. I will never pick up a rake to gather the nuts again. With a smile on my face, I have put the Bag-A-Nut small acorn 12” unit away for the season. After 4 days of use that removed 80 gallons of acorns, leaving the rodents searching elsewhere to fill their winter stash, and my grass turning green with envy of the neighbors lawn I am one happy owner of this Bag-A-Nut small acorn 12” picker.
