This review is not for the quality of the product but it’s Cust Service and its online process. I ordered BADLANDS RANCH SUPERFOOD for my dog from a commercial while watching I TV. During the checkout for 3 bags of food for $114.59 I was prompted prior to completing my checkout that I could order six bags and receive an additional multi item discount per bag. I agreed to purchase the 6 bags totaling $157.87. After completion, I realized I was charged for both orders with 2 different order numbers. I did not approve 2 orders. Couldn’t call customer service as it was late in the evening so I waited until morning and called at approx. 6:30am, PST. (CS OPENS AT 6 am) to cancel the $114.59 order and ask why they kept that order when I changed it prior to the completion of my original purchase. I didn't need or want 9 bags of dog food that have an expiration date. After an explanation that the order couldn’t be cancelled- it had already shipped (really?) and that other customers understood the ordering process, I ended the call abruptly. Approximately 30 minutes after this communication I received confirmation of the shipment. If the order processed before communicating with CS-I would have expected to receive shipping confirmation before that. Should of checked prior reviews before ordering- my mistake. Hope my dog can tolerate 9 bags of food or they will be donated.

I have just received my extremely expensive small tiny bags. I should have read the bad before purchasing. Then I would have known what size I am actually overpaying for. It smells a bit fishy to me. My dog ate it but she was reluctant. As much as I paid for that small amount there was no way I wasn't going to make her eat that.

I have a 4 year old Golden Retriever and I recently transitioned her solely on Badlands Ranch diet because I want her to have a healthy weight and long happy life. She absolutely loves it and given that she is very picky and easily gets bored with her food, I would say that this one is a keeper! I don’t even have to put any toppers, just her vitamins. My only concern is that her poop has been soft, not watery but definitely way softer than when she was on her previous diet. I followed the feeding guideline but wondering whether I need to cut back on her portions? Anyone have the same problem?

First time I tried to order and take advantage of an advertised discount for first time buyers, it didn't let me use the advertised additional percent off. Pulled me in but didn't deliver. I ordered the most expensive version anyway. I think the food is good, but at $50 per 24 oz bag of Lamb and Venison, it's unaffordable. Figured the first experience was a glitch, but when I decided to reorder at least one more time and use it as a topper, the website was screwy again and didn't have my item or a way to even login. w When talking to customer service, I was casually condescended to and told she could see the item on the site, so why couldn't I. Come on Katherine, you can do better than this. I won't be ordering any more. Need to improve online offers/adds and bad links/websites, improve customer service (I've read multiple significant complaints about customer service treatment), and find a way to sell for less, unless you are doing fine selling to Hollywood.

They wouldn't give me a receipt nor invoice with price and mark paid. I have insurance and I paid $149.00 for Super20. I called in to ask for invoice tht is marked balance due zero. Was told could not help me. Pleasant but could care less when I said then I'm unable to order again as my dogs insurance will not pay until I get an invoice with zero due. Won't be purchasing from them again

My dog really likes the food. My issue is the price for such little bags. I have a little dog (14lbs) and her previous food which she likes comes in a 4lb bag and costs $18.00. That bag probably lasts close to 4 months. I can barely get one of your bags to last a month and it’s 6x the price. Even if I get it on sale it’s pretty close to double the price. I just wish I could get a bigger bag of your brand at a lower cost.

Badlands Ranch Superfood Complete. My 12 year old black lab did like the taste. I used it as a topper to his Royal Canin food. Within one hour, he was hypersalivating, drool just pouring out. He turned very warm and he looked completely uncomfortable and his eyes were even watery. I will not ever give him this food again.

My dog loved the food. I do believe it’s a high quality food, however after reading more reviews, I question that. My opinion is the price point is out of reach for the average consumer. The bags are about three cups each, with feeding a cup and a half a day you go through a bag in way less than a week. My problem with them is their communication. I was charged $140 for a three pack of supplements. I never received communication that it was on back order to February 19th. Yet I was charged immediately. I received a notice that my subscription order of dog food arrived, only to find in no where. Sent an email, no reply. Called customer service to be told that that email was a mistake and a lot of customers received notice of shipment that was never shipped. I was told my subscription order that was scheduled to go out on the 4th….was shipped the 7th. I have still yet to receive it. So I cancelled the supplements and requested a refund. I didn’t like being charged for something that was on “back order” and never received any communication that it was on back order. Because of the poor communication and shipping and handling and the cost, I requested to cancel any further shipments and will be looking for another replacement food for my baby girl. If you can afford over $300 a month for food, more than that if you pet is over 20 lbs, then it might be a good choice. I do hope they get their shipping and communication up to par with the cost of this product. Lots of advertising wanting you to buy, but not good follow up. I’ve done over 31 years customer service and I guess I just expect more for the price of this product. I think good quality creates good service. If the service isn't good, I don't trust the product.
