The food I received was rock hard and smelled horrible. My dog will eat anything! However she hesitates at eating this stuff. I've made my one and only order of this dog food.

I absolutely LOVE Katherine Heigl, as an actress. That being said, I ordered her dog food, becoz I love my rescue babies, and want them to live a long time. My dogs weigh about 10 lbs each, and don’t eat a lot. I ordered the 3/$107.85, thinking to save money, becoz I am on SS, and work several part time jobs, just to survive. What I received was a shock! I received 3 tiny bags of dog food, in a 10.25”x8.25”x5.25” box, for that $107.85!!! 3 bags of dog food?? Really?? And to top it all off, I have to pay MY OWN MONEY to ship it back, in order to receive my refund. So, this means I’m out funds, and have absolutely nothing to show for it. Katherine, you’re an awesome actress. But, your business practices are lacking!! I am not a happy Fan! Rhonda

⛔️⛔️⛔️WARNING ⛔️⛔️⛔️DO NOT FEED TO YOUR BELOVED DOGS. After slowly mixing it into my sons food, he loved it! At 2 weeks he was eating 1/3 Badlands 2/3 regular food. Sudden, severe diarrhea & vomiting. I contacted my vet, then the company & the company told me, it was common for dogs to DETOX- and gave me this list: -Constipation -Bloating -Severe Diarrhea -Vomiting I almost had a heart attack! They never mention anything about these life threatening issues. I rescue elder dogs, so I was trying to give my 16 year old son the very best. And the vet said his liver level were elevated, he has to be on special liver meds for 3 months! $500 vet bill later, I don’t want any other dog to go through this ordeal! Please do not let her acting, guilt you into this, that’s what happened to me & I almost buried my son…

In May I lost my job so I notified Badlands Ranch of my predicament and to cancel my subscription. I was then charged for monthly product in May and then never received it. I heard nothing from Badlands Ranch, which BTW you cannot phone and must deal with them by email. When I was billed in June, I notified them that I need a refund from May and June. They have responded by saying that they are only able to refund 30% of what they owe me from each order. This in the face of losing my job and have done nothing wrong!! I am angry with such poor customer service. I would expect better from this kind of company. I will make use of social media, etc. to make people aware of these dishonest company practices.

I totally agree with previous comments about the small bags and high price. Unfortunately, it's the only food my mini goldendoodles will eat that doesn't give her diarrhea or vomiting. After trying, I chose to subscribe to shipments. Everything worked fine until the 2nd round of shipping was due to occur then for some odd reason (I still don't know), my credit card was refused. After speaking with no less than 5 customer service reps (some kind, some absolutely rude), and my bank who says there is no problem with having a different billing/ship date), it is still not fixed. I have sent an email attempting to debug their product shipping software, but I doubt they will look into it. They just send me 3-4 emails a day saying my credit card needs to be updated. I am looking for an alternative, as I finally decided you can't fix stupid.

They billed me almost $800 of food for 4 months and haven’t shipped. I didn’t order it. When I called and complained they said they would credit, and didn’t. Now they say they can’t find it. They are crooks. Don’t order from them.

Your web site told me my order did not go through, so I reordered and got the same error message. Then I received 2 emails from you saying I had placed 2 orders. I immediately tried to phone your customer service line, but was on hold for so long that I had to hang up. I called the next day and explained my experience and was told you’d credit my card after I returned the 2nd order at my expense for shipping. When I refused to do that, I was put on hold for a long period of time. When your rep returned, he told me he had caught the orders before they had shipped and that I’d only pay for and receive 1 order. The next day I received 2 orders and my credit card was also charged for 2 orders. I had to call your customer service line again. Eventually I was credited the price of 1 order.You allowed me to keep the 2nd order for free. But then I opened the boxes to find 6 tiny bags of hard and sharp kibbles that would last me 4 days for my 2 dogs. That’s $54 a day. $1620 a month. That’s more than I spend on monthly groceries for my husband and myself. No thanks.

I tried to order for 15 minutes and there was never a confirmation- then the next day I see that 2 (3 packs had been ordered) Package 1 came Today and they are huge chunks that are as hard as rocks - these are for my 2 elderly Pomeranian dogs with bad teeth ! I called customer service - after 30 min of waiting I explained that issue 1 was that the website did NOT confirm my order - and 2 - the product is as hard as a rock and I need to return - they told me I would have to pay for shipping - 😡 They were not at all helpful - I wish I never purchased this product - now I’m charged $214 !!! And will cost a ton to return it Their management team said “sorry that is our policy ! - horrible experience Sorry Katherine - I bought this out of my admiration and respect for you But obviously customers don’t come first
