Ordered 2 baby red eared sliders, one of them already came with swollen eyes and I didn’t know much about, watched multiple YouTube videos and discovered that he had a shut eye problem, put vitamin a and did a carrot soak for him and nothing has worked so far I don’t believe he has much left in him and I don’t know what to do but just be by his side. I reached out to them and they have not answered me back. Would not recommend, better off finding you turtles in the wild.

I bought 4 turtles from them and ALL four died within a week. I thought maybe the cold weather and delivery may be the reason and ordered 5 more to replace the ones that died. But then all five turtles from that order died also. Definitely will NEVER buy from them again.

Got a chameleon, she was suppost to be 3-4 inches but when she arrived she was maybe 2 inches way to small to be shipped. She lived less then 24 hours, I conotacted Backwater to only be told we have shipped for years with not issues clearly this is wrong and I wish I would of read the reviews so I didnt waist my money. Buy at your own risk!! Terriable people.

I purchased an Ambilole chameleon from Blackwater Reptiles and was sadly disappointed in the product I received. When I reached out to them expressing my disappointment, their response was a disappointing as my purchase. Don't buy into the 100% guarantee on their site. They don't have pictures or keep records of the chameleons they sell. However, they did challenge my honesty and asked me to send pictures with measurements. The truth is they just don't care about customer service. They just throw the animal in a plastic container and send it forward. I would never buy from this place again.

Arrival is NOT guaranteed. I ordered a chameleon at least a month ago, and have been trying to contact them since. Their phone goes to voicemail, saying the box is full, and i get no response over email. The only response I got was from their Facebook saying that that was only their social media and to call or email them. I received no shipping information, so they basically stole $400 from me. I have emailed repeatedly for a refund, and have gotten nothing but silence. Save your money everyone, I consider them a scam.

THEY BULLY UNSATISFIED CUSTOMERS TO SCARE YOU AWAY SO THAT THEY DO NOT HAVE TO PAY FOR REFUNDS/EXCHANGES. They are hostile and antagonistic. I am currently working with the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU to receive refund/replacement for animals which arrived DOA. The company would not respond to my emails until I got the Better Business Bureau involved, and then the company claimed that I only emailed them once. They have been unprofessional and accusatory. It is not just poor customer service, it is NO customer service. They are hostile in their emailed responses to my polite and professional requests for refund/replacement. This is their strategy to avoid having to pay for their mistakes: THEY BULLY UNSATISFIED CUSTOMERS TO SCARE YOU AWAY SO THAT THEY DON'T HAVE TO PAY.

I wouldn't even give a star.. I ordered yesterday before reading bad reviews.. I asked customer service if there was gonna be any issues.. they said since they thought I was gonna leave a bad review they refunded my money.. good thing I got that back.. if u call customer service it's goes straight to a VM that is full. THEY LIVE UP TO THEIR BAD REVIEWS..

Scam I order a ribbon snake and they said "your order is canceled" they didn't give my money back and they dared ask for me to order another one, I also HAVE SCREENSHOTS OF MY ORDER AND A SCREEN RECORDING, I'm so upset dude, I spend half of my savings into that snake, this is fked up
