My sister had to move away because she is an army wife. Army prenatal care is not the same as normal care, so she wasn't able to hear the heart beat for quite a while. I sent her this and she was so happy to try to find the heart beat and hear it whenever they want! It was great to be able to record to share with the rest of our family too!

This is a nice doppler and I believe would work well for someone with a regular, posterior placenta. I purchased this and shortly after found out I have an anterior placenta making it harder for me to find a heartbeat. I am 16 week s and have yet to get the babys heartbeat. It shows a number but I don't hear the corresponding beat. I don't believe this is any fault of the doppler.
