Absolutely what was needed and crystal clear results. Just be patient the first time you're using it. If you don't hear the heartbeat right away. Be patient. Don't freak our thing "omg this thing is a piece of crap and doesn't work". It works. Just be patient. It's all about finding the correct location and you'll know right away. If you don't find it the first time give it a break. You will find it. We use this daily and works each time as it should
