The jewelry is gorgeous, let's start there. The designs are unique and I love the different options. My silver necklace is shockingly immaculate, not even a tiny bit of tarnishing. My gold chains, on the other hand, are a tarnished wreck. I haven't cracked the code for getting them back to their shiny selves, but I hope to soon. The prices are also outrageous for the quality of metal, at least in the gold. Did I mention the silver is as bright as ever? It's so bizarre (and very welcome).

Kate, thank you for the honest review — and we're glad your silver has held up the way it should. Gold tarnishing like that isn't typical, and we'd like to take a closer look and help get those chains back to where they started. Please reach out to our care team at [email protected] with your order details so we can make this right.

Love their jewelry but…
Love their jewelry but the company practices aren't the best. My partner purchased me a gift from their website and unknowingly got signed-up for their monthly subscription which he didn't want. And I have been a member for over a year now and never hear from back from their customer support team for weeks (if at all).

Samantha, thank you for the kind words on the jewelry — we're sorry the rest hasn't matched it. We do send renewal reminders before every charge, and we'd genuinely like to review your partner's sign-up and your open questions directly; our team replies within1 business days, so we're truly sorry if a message was missed. Please reach out at info@aweinspired, and mention the review, and we'll make sure you're to assist you

The jewelry is generally beautiful but…
The jewelry is generally beautiful but the quality has suffered in recent years- broken clasps and loose stones have been a problem. Additionally the prices have skyrocketed- much more than can be accounted for by the rise in cost of gold and silver.

Symbolic products, BUT.....
I really like the products and their meanings, but they are increasingly expensive. Unless there's a decent sale, I will not be able to afford these products; they are luxuries. (Some products are a little too radical, i.e. the new IUD necklace-its a practical and empowering product, but not to adorn my neck). My number one critique is how unaffordable the brand is becoming. That's unfortunate because I own over 20 different necklaces by Awe.

I’ve bought several pieces from Awe
I’ve bought several pieces from Awe, and the design of all of them is beautiful. However the gold vermeil loses its luster with in a few years of even infrequent wear. It’s disappointing given the price. Will probably only buy their solid gold pieces in the future, but my budget is limited.

Membership Scam Updatr
I ordered one piece of jewelry for my daughter at Christmas. They snuck a membership fee and are charging me $40 month. I have not been able to get hold of them and am have reported them to my credit card company. Do not buy from this company. If they rectify the situation and refund my money I will update this review.
Company has since refunded and hopefully cancelled my membership . Moving to a 3 star for now . Waiting on final confirmation of cancellation of membership .

The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly
I'll be honest, I snooped through the other reviews. I'm not wholly surprised, but yet also completely surprised. First off, I've been ordering from/interacting with them for only about 2 years. I don't have experiences past that.
I have had the occasional vague response from customer service reps, and they take up to or more than 48 hrs to respond depending on time of year, and day of the week. They are humans too, I assume most take off the weekend, and their covers go in order of emails. But they are generally very kind and helpful. Especially when my items fall in the warranty window.
Also, I've had items back ordered and they offered the option of refund or to still ship the item when it's back in stock. I'm guessing kindness begets kindness. Hm.
Second, tied into my earlier CSR contact, a gold vermeil chain had a weird fade out in under 3 months of barely wearing, and they were on it with the exchange. Completely free. They are honest with that.
I will say, yes, their shipping times are abhorrent esp during fall/winter/holiday months, but that's what you get. You either pay more to get it when you want it, or you risk delays. They don't control the weather or shipping carriers. I personally get everything when I see it which may line up with a sale, and the items come within 2 weeks, most often less.
My one major gripe is that, YES, the prices in the last year alone have gone up. The price of an exchange I just completed had a $5 difference. Yes, it's only $5 to some, but it still matters to me. The newer "special" items are for sale in the Thous. The gold vermeil (which I can only wear as necklaces, due to allergy of cheap materials) is already more expensive than the silver, which is why I only buy sporadically, and store carefully. It doesn't change that it is overpriced. But they have celebrities promoting the company so it's difficult for them to justify decent prices for the masses.
All of this combined dings them a full 2 stars. So, I can't say I've had such bad experiences as the others but they're not always that bad. I will make a side point that they gave a survey the other year, and I gave a recommendation that should have been heeded, but they didn't and it's one of the reasons for my decline in shopping with them. So, the higher ups care more about their celebrity clientele and normative standards.

They frequently mess up shipments
I've bought several items from Awe because I love the designs but they screw up orders probably half the time. They've shipped me the wrong item before, sent a broken bracelet once, and now most recently, sent a shipment with a missing necklace. Then I have to chase down customer support. I want to love them but they're soooo expensive for what they offer and they almost always mess up the shipments. This will be my last Awe purchase.
